The Near Death Experience of Prof. Dr. Johannes Hagel

Prof. Dr. Johannes Hagel had a near-death experience as a young man in a car accident. In this interview he is talking about his impressive experience.
He recently published a book in which he outlines a supernatural experience he had as a nine-year-old child on Mother's Day in 1965.
Except for the description of this very formative event for him, he tried to describe the problems of his almost fundamentalist Catholic upbringing, as described in the interview. The concept of sin or mortal sin and the divine punishment for sin play a decisive role in this book, as does the psychological distress and fears that many children who grew up with this socialization probably got into at the time.
