We’ve seen what Toney can do in FPL. 20 goals the season before last, so I definitely don’t think 7.5 is overpriced and if he can even get close to that form he’ll be a bargain
If Toney gets a transfer he will be a bargain if he stays its an avoid for me
You're right people just aren't going near him cause he had a low score last season cause he missed most of the season cause he was banned. He's a super striker that is one of the best penalty takers in the world aswell, I'm gonna try to find a way to fit him in my team.
@alistairchenery5906 I wouldn't say it's an avoid I'd say it's just as good if not better because if he's the best striker Brentfords got it means more starts for him which means more points if he goes to Arsenal or Spurs or Chelsea or United he has to compete with the likes of Havertz Jesus Richarlison, Son, Werner, Nkunku, Jackson Hojlund Rashford etc.

Palmer Prediction = 210pts: 4 pens, 18 total goals, 9 assists
Last season Son and Saka also achieved this amount and they are 10m (cheaper)... I know alot of that is speculation...but trying to account for a drop in penalties to a reasonably normal amount

Palmer was one of the top scorers last season. How can he not be a bargain?
First pick in my team ... reasonable price for the top scorer in FPL 2023-24 (Palmer 244 v Haaland 217)
He was one of the top scorers and he was cheap. Now he's 10.5, it's different. The ranking isn't only based on their performances, it considers their prices too. 10.5 is just a bit too high
@@kngLazzar he is still 4.5 mil cheaper than Haaland and his value per cost ratio is still among highest in the whole game

Areola’s total points were boosted by 2 pen saves which was the most across last season. Think he’s bit of a trap personally
how many points does that account for? Our manager having a better defensive record should account for it? I think Areola > 4.0 mil keeper.

Palmer placed at the bottom and Watkins in bargain category is crazy imo😅 I think both is about right, Watkins might be great value if we get confirmation that he takes penalties, but i think it will be McGinn or Tielemans. Also Watkins did get 13 assist(which doesnr even include fpl assists) with only xA of 4.16, which is insane as well.

But i disagree about villa's defence, they're defence is one of the best in the league mate:

RB: Matty cash, konsa
LB: maatsen, digne, moreno

I think it’s a system thing rather than a personnel thing. They have the players for sure.
Saying Nkunku is nailed on when fit is definitely not true. He has huge potential but Chelsea has so many attacking options that it's hard to trust anyone but Palmer to consistently start especially with a new manager.
The last forward/striker to succeed in Chelsea was Tammy Abraham.
