    I don't know why people are bitching about him vacuuming around them.
    Did you not hear the freakin 5 minute lecture about how he's been doing it
    for so many years and how you SHOULD NOT do it if you're inexperienced?
    You're acting like he sucked them all up or something, none of them even
    got anywhere near the damn thing.

    Yes they need a hot side, preferably under the tank to help digest food. Heat mats, heat cable or heat tape are your best bets, avoid heat rocks as they can overheat and burn.

    My female leopard gecko laid 2 eggs on may 2nd and they hatched yesterday. this is my first time breeding leopard geckos (or any animal for that matter) and I was so excited when they hatched. the mother is a tremper albino het raptor and the father is a high yellow. I know one baby is a raptor but i have no clue what the other one is. Is there a way i can send you a pic of it so you can tell me what it is? plz reply

    My gecko is about the size of the first ones you took out, the ones that just hatched. I had no idea my gecko was so young. You mentioned that they will need to shed soon but my gecko refuses to go into the wet hide. It stays in the warm dry hide all day. I know it will need to shed soon based on its size but if I can't get it to stay in the wet hide how can I assure it has a smooth shed process? I prefer using reptile carpet instead of paper towel in the tank.

    you need a heat pad for leos, it should cover between 1/3 and 1/2 of their tank. you dont need uvb but it can be beneficial.

    I hear you need a calcium dish in the tank all the time but do I really need it ? I see you don't use it for your geckos but is it because you put extra supplements with the mealworm ?

      +Patrick Raes Typically with the rack systems that are used, such as this one, there is a strip of heat tape running along the entirety of bottom of each shelf or on the back. So that provides the necessary heat for the geckos.

    interesting video- Im a pagona owner, and I have a few questions about leos- Why mealworms vs superworms(mario) or roaches? When it comes to dragons meal worms are avoided due to protein\chiten ratio? Would lateralis (Russian Red Cockroach) nymphs work and provide even more nutrition than the standard meal worm?

    • @fionashepley478
      @fionashepley478 7 років тому

      Both mealworms and superworms aren't very good feeders for Leos. Roaches are pretty much the healthiest thing you can give them :)

    • @TheMinecraftgosmoo
      @TheMinecraftgosmoo 9 років тому

      Annisa Bunga You could try force feeding her, once you do this say 3 times she will start eating on her own. She is probably nervous as well, baby leopard geckos aren't really supposed to be fat. Most of their energy is directed towards growing, so her tail should be plump but not fat like an adult Leopard Gecko. Hope this helped. Next time you need help Google usually has the answers!
