- In this video I will talk about a bug that I have seen happening to some people lately, and the reason, despite me thinking that it could be the CBF mod, is still unknown. Also there are some cool levels and memes! I hope you'll like it!

I actually remember seeing a post that quad spikes are possible with CBF as a part of a larger joke post, that's probably the thing that happened
i no joke get this like once every 5 attempts. it’s probably cbf related, and it only happens i think when you click when the cube is at max hight from its jump and you click

The double jump bug probably is a result of touching a block early from lag like at 0:51
But sometimes it happened when they weren't close to block if it is the answer they should of died in the first clip

i think this is the mysterious double jump bug
The double jump bug happened to me too lol. I was grinding Nine Circles (I beat it) and i would sometimes die to the spike on top of the first jump. Multiples times. I will admit that i am using CBF, but I turned it off and it still happens.
Fun fact: in 2.0 and 2.1 double jump was very much possible. All you needed is raising platform with a jump pad. Once player jumps from the jump pad, they will be still considered as if they're on the ground by the game (player will be "walking" mid air). In that short window of time you will be able to jump in the air until the game realises player is actually not on the ground and recorrect their state.
That bug is fixed in 2.2 I'm pretty sure. Also I have a challenge exploiting that, so now it's impossible lol

Not the double jump bug, but I was playing Dismal Duststorm and sometimes I would just get randomly launched upward in the robot section. However I was playing with cbf and the Superjump didn't happen after I turned it off.

For some reason, there is an easier way to do the double jump, if you just spam hard enough. I've experienced this on a multitude of demons and just levels in general, where if you spam fast enough, you just jump twice. :|

Fromy my experience, the double jump only happens with CBF & Physics Bypass together, and it's extremely rare, only happened twice and I only have the second one recorded.

i have a theory as to why the double jump bug happens... since clicks can happen between frames, you could theoretically click twice on a single frame, and the game could register that as two jumps, hence creating a double jump. and since geometry dash probably creates jumps just by adding y velocity there's nothing stopping it from going higher than a single jump on one frame.
i don't know anything about gd modding, i just thought i'd share my game theory

I've also suddenly begun to face this double jump bug.... Weird
I had the bug while playing the robot part of PeePee using cbf. I experienced the bug about 10 times. I saw on a previous DDOGD video that someone died far on Zodiac due to a bug. I think this was the bug. I also found a fix for it: Go to the mod settings and turn on the checkbox that makes the game look for an input near the end of a frame (I don't remember the name but it worked) PS I do NOT know for sure if its the same bug or not
If the double jump thing really is related to CBF I think it’s gonna get banned on the demon list.
it could give you a little help on some levels were you have to make huge jumps via the gameplay, but you could skip them here, as an example I’m thinking of Sundset Sandstorm were you could really easily pass some parts with this.
I’m aware that this is a bug and will get fixed eventually, but for the time being if not fixed i think it would be banned
its really unconventional to pull it off mid level its REALLY hard to do
