How many holes did you start with? And how did you learn? I’m hoping to learn how to play!
I’m not saying she started with 12 holes but I think 12 holes is a good thing to start with bc I’m starting with it- I’m not a master at ocarina’s so I wouldn’t really know tho lol
Transverse (12 hole) ocarinas are probably the best for beginners, pendant ocarinas can have slightly less range and the progression from low to high notes and playing sharps and flats is less linear and harder for beginners to understand. That's just my take though, you can start with either if you have a strong preference toward either one. Also don't start with double or triple chamber, trust me, they're really confusing and harder for beginners to play
