I really hope this isn't the writers trying to move James into becoming Mac and it's just an isolated event. Things I find interesting, Ste had his stepfather who used to abuse him, James had his father who abused him, and now Lucas has a nasty relationship with his stepfather. They all have difficult relationships with father figures.
Hmm... what the hell was the writing of this ep?! It was so forced and OOC. So James' brilliant idea for dealing with Lucas is to practice the same psychological abuse that his father practiced on him... What?! And he did it behind Ste's back. I don't know how he'll forgive that. Now Lucas will really have reason to hate him and will become afraid of him.
@@kaylynnemark8835 It doesn't matter. This is basically saying that because Lucas is spoiled and irritable, James has the go-ahead to commit psychological abuse with him. "but somebody needs to do something with this child" So let him learn how to correct a child's behavior together with Ste. He got married knowing that he would have two teenagers as stepchildren.
@@jaredporikos2197 Lucas is a teenager! James is an adult. What he did to Lucas is basically psychological abuse. There's no excuse. If he wasn't ready to be a stepfather, he shouldn't marry someone who has two teenage children.
I understand James locking Lucas in the shed and leaving him in there for a few hours out of anger and frustration at Lucas's behavior. Also, it's James being James. But not so wild about James leaving a fifteen-year-old boy locked up in a shed in winter all night. Ste won't be too wild about it either, though I don't think he will find out anytime soon since they seem to be focusing on Lucas building something with Dillion.
@@vanessamillwood9710 Sure Lucas had a coat, but it's not like it was a thick one and the weather can get low at night. James should have more smarts than leaving a kid in a shed in the middle of winter. Lucas will probably be fine physically since it's a soap, but he could have gotten sick or hurt, it's not ok.
@@dougdanielson7187 Yeah I do think they are gonna have Lucas and James do a bunch of horrible things to each other coming up. Especially as it seems that Lucas has a lot of anger to work through.
@@dougdanielson7187 I doubt it, probably later in the year. Simply because they have the whole Rayne thing with Peri and Romeo. The whole save Sienna from Rafe and Dilly. And the fact that Leela and Joel might be having a baby. Plus any romance that might be happening with Lucas and Dillion. That's gonna take some time. So maybe a few months out.
What James did was extreme but Lucas needs a reality check. I know Lucas is dealing with his own inner conflict and his feelings for Dillon and stuff but if there are two people in his life who will be understanding as to how Lucas is feeling it's Ste and James. If Lucas just stopped his pathetic vendetta against James and actually talked to his family then things would be so much better.
Is that the same shed Harry and Ste stayed in? Oh, if this doesn't work and Lucas tells Ste the first chance he gets, this won't bring up very good memories, like when James got a kick out of trying to lure Harry from Ste and was willing to pay for it and later pimp him out. I answered on an earlier hollyoaks post about whether Ste and James should stay together and I said yes, because nothing major has happened to justify a breakup, but this might be taking it too far. This alone would justify a breakup. It could either be a one off to help Lucas recognize the privileges he had with James before and start to respect him as a result, or it could be the start of something very dark where James begins to get a kick out of scaring Lucas and as a result keep traumatizing him just to remain in control. In that case, it would be like being married to a monster on Ste's end. I can't see him dealing very well with that, especially when all the memories start flooding in.
Wow, Lucas is so rude towards James’s life. Hopefully Lucas learns a lesson after a night in that shed. Of course, Lucas might call the cops on James afterwards.
Me: I wonder what James has been up to lately on Hollyoaks...
James: *kidnaps his stepson*
Me: Oh!

James to punishment Lucas in James's abuse past shed overnight for his recent behavioral .

Yeah it's looking to me that the writers want ste back with John Paul because there are trying the hardest to tear James and ste apart
Lucas is a sassy little brat and he’s fine where he is. Ste may be upset, but somebody needs to do something with this child

Oh yeah...I didn't think about it being in the dead of winter. That's even worse.
The truth of James locking up Lucas in the shed is going to happen next year hopefully January

That's not reality check, much less education. Not to mention leaving a teenager alone with only a water base in the forest.
Its abuse, don't try and excuse it.
Lucas did this to himself

I hope it doesn't work, because if it does the show will be sending a very problematic message. That's literal abuse.
I have a feeling to them breaking up Ste will never be ok with this and I’m hoping John Paul will help comfort them and there love can be rekindled

wait until they have Lucas get hypothermia
Please don’t make James into Mac pleassseeeee
When Ste finds out that James did this to Lucas. Its going to backfire on James,
big time, because Ste is going to protect Lucas from James.
This might be a reason for them to break up and I’m hoping it’ll bring Ste and John Paul back together
This made no sense at all. Ste was literally on James's side 🤦🏼♀️ he self destructs more often than Mercedes McQueen has an affair.
I really hate Lucas. Totally deserves to be in there. However, Ste will not be happy about this punishment.
Lucas got what he deservesd
OH SNAP!!!!
Lol 😂
please Myra has to return about her cousin Prince need her come back now please
Can Ste and John Paul just get back together already I can’t stand watching Ste with James
poor ste 😢
