Every time I listen to this song it makes me wanna draw Anime crying characters, because when I draw anime characters, I get into it and I draw my personal feelings, if I'm happy, but I can't show it I draw. If I'm too sad and I just can't cry I draw crying anime characters. I understand that as some kind of art, and art for me is expressing your own feelings to whatever you draw.. I draw decently but I just can't feel any emotion through doing so. I use writing as a way to vent the accumulated feeling out. It really helps me. For it is a world that was created by me, changed by my editing, improved through my reading, and continued through my writing. All my emotions and hidden feelings resonate within the characters.

If we open our eyes and see, we would know that we aren't alone, but as humans, we choose not to open our eyes and see the truth, instead, we stay blind to the truth and listen to the lies.

the show pretty little liars reminded me of this song, it was when Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer were all in differnet places, and Aria was riding in the car with her mom Ella after they heard terrible news and were driving home to Mike and Byron.

This song reminds me of a popular person slowly getting being betraid by his/her friends and they bully her and slowly start making her lonely and depressed all the time and him/her getting into smoking drugs and things like that and slowly loosing control and starts to commit suicide but stops and try's to get to the good side were a real good friend is and the bad friends are stopping her and her good friend helps him/her to get away from them and he/she protects the one person and gets her on the good side and she/he lives a good new life now

Funny how songs like this, hit differently the older you get. Assuming you can still listen to them, without getting bored, or cringing. XD
Like that "Get lost in the dark to find yourself" verse. It used to make me cringe, but now it hits very differently. For me.
I first listened to this song when I was about 12 when I entered my nightcore phase and forgot about this song and now coming back to it as a 15-year-old, I can sense this song has a very deep and dark meaning behind it. I tried looking through the comments to see if anyone found the meaning and tried searching this song to find it. Didn't find an explanation so I'm going to try to explain it in the best way I can, and I've also read into this song.
Anyway, I'm going to explain this and separate it into paragraphs because I know some people like my ex hate reading long paragraphs as it looks intimidating to them, so to those of you who do hate it silently say "Thank you, Ray,"
So I think a girl was murdered by her sister's fiance, but he made it look like she ran away so no one questioned it except her best friend. Her sister's fiance, raped and molested the younger sister, and told her "(Pick a name or smth) if you tell anyone about this, I'll break off the engagement to your older sister."
The younger sister didn't want her sister to be hurt so she kept the secret to herself. She knew she had to protect her older sister so her hurt wouldn't break. She went to school like every ordinary day, and her old sister's fiance was a coach at her school, so she would see him all around the school.
Her best friend asked her what was wrong, and she shook her head saying nothing was wrong smiling weakly at her best friend. But he called bullshit, he knew she was lying. But he knew she would tell him when she was ready. And finally, when she had enough, she said she was going to tell on the bastard, but before he could do anything, her parents and sister came back home.
The next day she went to school, she was scared so she clung to her best friend and made sure she was always near him while at school, and her best friend who will call Daniel, found it strange but he didn't mind it. But throughout the day she didn't see him. He was gone for about a few weeks when suddenly she fell ill and started throwing up at school.
Daniel called his older brother, a cop, and asked if he could take them to the hospital. His brother showed up and drove them to the hospital where the younger sister, let's call her Mya was rushed into the ER after going into shock, they ran a few tests on her and found out she was pregnant with a child. The doctor asked where her parents were, and Daniel's older brother said they were out of town.
Mya who was 14 had just been told she was pregnant, Daniel grabbed the results of the test on the counter before his brother could see them and went into Mya's hospital room, and said, "What happened and don't start with the bullshit lies!" he yelled at her and she had started crying and finally said, that she was raped. "Who... who did it? I can tell my brother, he can arrest them," he said going to comfort her when suddenly her older sister's fiance showed up to take her home. he picked her up in his arms and signed her out of the hospital. Daniel looked at Mya who's face suddenly showed fear but he saw her mouth, "Don't say anything...please.."
The bastard took Mya to her house and was greeted with a kiss from his fiance. When the bastard had found out Mya was pregnant with his child, he had murdered her in cold blood and buried her body in the forest. That day, she was proclaimed as another missing teenager. Her family was devastated and her friend, Daniel was thrown into a deep depression.
