Beautiful truck! The attention to detail is amazing .. from the retro radio with Bluetooth to the sparkling carpet and LED lights. I love the wheels; I would’ve put those on my truck. I wish I never sold my square body; this makes me miss it even more!
@@DavisOffRoad1Thanks, my 85 is pretty much identical to your truck, 4 speed manual, ac, power locks, power windows, quad headlights with factory running lights on top of the cab. Scottsdale package, moroon interior.
Clean build! 2” /33? I’m in the middle of one very close to that one. Midnight Black with blue interior. Davis Boys do it right Can you get a better shot of that exhaust next week? I’d appreciate it!
It’s in the showroom will bring a full walk around with all the details of Lyft tires sizes and actually lay under it as we normally do to show the full undercarriage rocker panels Corners this one shows as well from the top as it does from the bottom
That is a nice truck. I would get some kind of skaters tape or rocker protection tape to keep those as clean as possible. I’ve got some on my 2019 F150, it’s black and blends in pretty well.
@DavisOffRoad1 i knew it . I came within a whisker of ordering a new '78 once upon a time , Cordova Brown was the only color they had that year that appealed to me .
Is this truck’s paint Indian Bronze Metallic? In 1984 I ordered a K30 Custom Deluxe, 454, 4-speed, A/C, Dual Tanks, AM-FM Cassette player, Indian Bronze Metallic paint with Maroon interior color, ordered it from St. John’s Chevrolet in St. Augustine, FL man I wish I still had it today, had to sell it for a down payment on my first house. I had the truck for 7 years and sold it to a friend I went to High School with back in West Virginia, I told him if I ever sold it he would get first rights to it. I hand coated the frame and underbody to keep the rust from attacking it. 👍
You know if GM didn't do the staggered shock set up on the rear axle , you could have rear sway bars , like Ford has done since 1978 on the F-250 - F-350 4x4s , JUST SAYING, LIFTED FORDS HANDLE LIKE A SPORTS CAR WITH FRONT AND REAR SWAY BARS !!!
The Squarebodys are nice , beautiful. They seemingly are abundant in the retro world. Can someone explain why the Ford Dentside is such a rarity ? Not just at Davis but nationwide. I do realize that old school Chevy parts are more available than most. We use to joke that you could get a Small Block Chevy Overhaul Kit at the country store.
That’s a really good question. There’s still a lot of Fords out there too, but part of it is part of it is parts available, Part of it I believe is amount of production new… will try to do a video coming up showing production numbers and other things.

I own an 85 K20 & 87 V20 both exact same factory color like this truck. Mine needs paint and body..plan to have mine looking that nice one day.

That's the way to lift a truck 👍! not hard on drive train, still use it like a truck because not way off ground and easy to get in to still!
With a set of our power steps it would be ideal
Clean ❤❤❤
