Thank you so much for this and your other videos. They have really given me an understanding of the topography in eastern WA. Scales have fallen from my eyes.
That's a really cool Missoula feature which I have never seen. Try to vid the more flood obscure features, like this, that none of us ever get to see and aren't covered in the general lit. Like that triple crater on another video of yours. Keep it up Ice Age Floodscape!
Super cool landscape. Looks like a great place for a ranch. How come they haven't tried planting a bunch of trees I wonder? Also, I wonder how fertile the soil is.
@@GiffysChannel The strange thing is it would have been an amazing place for a ranch before the ice age floods came along and stripped all the loess from the bedrock. Now it's a barren scrubland for the most part.
Thank you for uploading this! How does one gain access to the HU Ranch Coulee, it's private right? I'd love to be able to explore it and take photos of it one day myself.
@@IceAgeFloodscapes Yep that's why I've never gone there hehe. (I won't trespass, I was curious how to gain permission :) Maybe someday I could hike and study the geography, geology and some of the flora)
@@IceAgeFloodscapes Thank you very much for the reply! I absolutely love your footage and it has really helped me to learn about the different geologic structures caused by these immense floods! Keep up the amazing work :)
Your vision seems limited, and i dont see a video about the flood across the world... Do you want to know and understand more ? Then you will understand and it's logic, why some canyons are weirder, than others.
@@IceAgeFloodscapes O_O ? You like to see maps and topography..... how can you say that... this is ridiculous, really. One of your best. Organization of views, maps, and text outstanding. Congrats.

It’s hard to imagine the vast amount of water coursing through there time and time again. I’m completely fascinated by your drone footage. Well done.
Thanks again Bruce. Great photography, analysis and science!
Amazing footage. Thank you so much for sharing this wonder.

I've noticed it when I drove by to Palouse...thanks
Always a great day when there is a new video. Thanks!!
Fascinating; wonderful production, thanks.

This area is too arid for trees. Only small shrubs and grasses will grow here naturally.
@@IceAgeFloodscapes ah, ok. Thanks for replying :)

Nothing left but the lava..
I think pan flute music would be pretty cool too.

Most of this area is closed to the public. Privately owned land used for grazing cattle.
