Oblivion is better than Skyrim. Don't get me wrong Skyrim is a great game and Oblivion has it's suckish parts but Skyrims sheer size and radiant quests bogs you down in monotony after a while. Also Fallout New Vegas is supremely underrated
"Online gaming, in general, is sh** and I hate it." Oh my god! THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one to think that. I also personally don't like online games from my console. I don't care for multiplayer. Just give me interesting characters, with a good story and gameplay. And the less grounded into reality the better. (Within some modicum of reason.)
I hate online games, I'm with ya! I'm a single player person 100% I like the escapism and immersion. Everyone in my area is into call of duty and destiny and it's hard to talk about the games I like with these people. Just beat a Plagues Tale: Innocence highly underrated btw.
Can't stand online games. I used to play FIFA from time to time because i live football but even that always got on my nerves how annoying and unenjoyable the experience mostly was. I play games mostly for single player, good story, characters etc.
I couldn't agree more. Even when I do play online, I do it solo and go out of my way not to be social with others.

I hate Pacman. It's just simple. No side quests, no customization, no open map... The inventory is not big enough for all the items and the skills tree is just very simple. The graphics are ok, but the lack of freedom is annoying. I just expected more from an RPG like this. Let's wait for Pacman 2 and see what they do.
Do you actually play Fifa much? The games change quite a lot each year. If you aren't really into Fifa then you aren't going to understand how much it changes.
I agree with this about every sports game. If all you are going to do is make the graphics better and update the roster, then lower the damn price. No real work is being done behind the scenes to warrant the prices and the in game purchases
A lot goes into tweeking the physics and gameplay. You have to play a fair bit to notice the difference, it's actually a big deal. They have never ever just added the roster and improved the graphics.
I wouldn't say pointless. It creates massive competition between developers, which in turn make massive strides forward in devoloping new and cool ways to game. But i 100% agree with you, if we look at it superfically.
I play on console but I understand why pc gamers hate us. Many games have been dumbed down so the casual console plebians wouldn't run away from it and so it could run smoothly on consoles. As a fan of complexity, I get the hate.
Rich: I’m gonna talk about the last of us *Gets attacked by Scott* Rich: So next up is...*is he gone?* so next up is *whispers assassins creed* *Gets attacked by Scott again*
Witht the whole The Last Of Us opinion being all "clickers are too hard to kill, they should die with 1 bullet to the head not 14!" - you do realize you're meant to sneak around them, right? Facing them head on is a bad idea BECAUSE they're so hard to kill. They're blind, so the best option is just to try and stealth past them. If you're going in to a room of 6 clickers expecting to kill them all you're playing the game wrong
Yeah. The whole point of the game is that the enemies are hard to kill and you should only use guns as a last resort. Hell, try playing it on survivor difficult and you barely even have any ammo for your guns.
@@oswaldosanchez8938 well if you play in normal difficulty with 2 headshot is more than enough (super easy and they give you a bunch of ammo) but If you are playing it on the hardest difficulty you need to pass stealthy all the game (sorry for the bad English)
I’m playing on the hardest difficulty (I played normal like 3 years ago, so I don’t remember most of the game) and I’ve really come to notice that, especially at that difficultly you gotta stealth past almost everything lol
Basically, deal with runners however you want. Stealth past clickers to save ammo, health, throwables. Then, go apeshit on every human enemy. They're the most fun to deal with. Throw a brick at a guy's head, then sprint right at him while he's stunned and beat his head against the wall. Shoot someone's leg, stun them a little, then hit them with your melee. The game's got good TPS mechanics, it's a little clunky, but there's a lot of variation. That person's just bad.
I agree!!! Multiplayer online is just dumbed down, appeal to the masses (and lowest IQ) zero storytelling, non immersive shite!!! Game developers love it because they can save fortunes on leaving out half the game. "Just give um a battle Royale mode and they'll love it"!!! It's ruining gaming for me and I hope the trend passes (but it's unlikely when it's saving devs money)
Single player for people who like a good heart thinking story. Online play for people who like to hear about what a 10 year old did to their mum last night and how they live in a basement.
Cheaters are bad. Trolls are manageable. But ignorant children.... Lets just say if the purge were real, I wouldn't kill people. I would just go around beating other peoples kids. "Mommy mommy I want this one." Me "Shut up Timmy I want you to meet these hands"
Origins and odyssey look fun but they should have made a new franchise. They have absolutely nothing to do with assassins creed. Honestly, they should have just ended the franchise after AC3, made black flag a stand alone pirate game and created a new RPG´ish franchise with origins and odyssey
YES! i'm so glad ash said that about ME3. i was going to post that as my own. i liked the original ending, and the expanded ending was even better. could it have used a little work? yeah. but whatever i've still put like 300 hours on that game across 2 different versions.
I can understand why people like the ideas behind the endings but I refuse to believe that anyone liked their execution. Three colour swapped sets of cinematics topped off with a popup to buy DLC. It was completely low effort and it showed. The Extended Cut is great and if it had been the shipped endings then I doubt things would have kicked off as they did. It's takes each ending and makes them truly unique, gives resolution for your team and the universe, and still manages to leave 'lots of speculation for everyone.' Oh and if the Starchild was the Catalyst and no-one but Shepard knew it was there, then how did anyone add it to the plans for the Crucible? You can't build something to use a part that you don't know exists.
My controversial opinion : Assassins Creed Unity IN ITS CURRENT STATE is really good. The assassinations are some of the best in the franchise, it introduced different ways of killing a target, it was the first one to have proper stealth, the story was alright, and it had actually good murder mystery missions. The bad reviews it got are not justified anymore after the bugs are patched.
I got a copy frpm a pawnshop for 5 bucks about 57 months after its initial release, I woulda hated that game if not for the bugs lol, they made that game
I hate it when people say that, they ussualy are the people who haven't even played the game, because if you do 1 minute of research, you'll realize that the game is 15 hours long, and onlu has 1 hour and 20 minutes of cutscenes
His complaints about the combat are what a complete scrub at the game and TPSs would say. You're not supposed to kill the infected easily, but really, you can one-shot them with most guns... just not the starting pistol and revolver.
Oh it's fantastic 1000% one of the best games I've played. But after my expert playthrough I was bored by it tbh. I know some people who have completed sevral times but I just find naughty dog games to be alil one and done for me. Absolute blast the first time then afterwards u can't enjoy it quiet the same. But reason I prefer open world and rpg games.
4:49 GTA 4 is the best gta game in my opinion....because it's far from saints row....some people heted gta iv because it was so dark and realistic and Focus a lot to the story rather than the over action and crazy missions but for me I love the more Mature and realistic gameplay and alive looking city rather than have flying cars and gameplay elements that doesn't have any sense
Its my favorite GTA game too but it felt to me like it did not really have that much of a story. Rockstar is great at everything else but all there games does not really have that good or interesting storys to me. For most of the games your just doing random jobs for random people that got nothing to do with the story really and most of the characters are just supposed to be wacky and fun personalitys but not somebody you care about.
A long winded compliment and congrats on 1 million. I'm sure a big chunk will agree, we do miss Ben and Peter. However their Vidiots channel is awesome and a much better style and writing format that fits them perfectly. I was hesitant about a lot of the new people the last year, took my time to give them a chance. With that said this new group might be the best what culture has ever been, they've all found their voice. I like the banter again, it's great to see they have a staff again that works great with each other, and that what culture is letting them stay a bit more away from lists and BE THEMESELVES. I initially could not stand scott, but seeing him truly embrace his voice as a journalist and a reviewer I now find him to be the most nuanced and enjoyable person to listen to talk about gaming. I love this group I love watching them be non sensical and even though this might be mostly a simple video game channel, I absolutely adore it. Congrats on 1 million and many more.
Completely agreed with OP. WhatCulture gaming is easily the best part of the channel nowadays. I love this series as well, congrats to whomever came up with the idea for it.
I used to enjoy playing it until I realized that aiming wasn't determined by skill. The game is only centered around building, and I found it boring and not fun to play.
Yes the animus was bad enough but after you reveal an area of the map it becomes a collection game and honestly i hated spyro and other games that just want you to collect items. Though i am a scavenger that likes to pick up everything i can from every obscure place i can get into, games that extend playtime with collecting items suck
Couldn’t disagree more. AC is by far my favourite video-game series and I think the animus bit is critical! That’s the thread that ties the whole storyline together!
(Spoilers) I have a wierd opinion about origins but...I think I would have liked it better if Black Mask really was the main villain? And they just stuck to the plot they started with. Once the joker took over and became the main villain AGAIN im like ugh. But even then...if he just didnt come back after Batman arrested him the first time and they made Bane the main villain instead for awhile...Id have been more down. I love joker...but I love the other villains as much and just wanted it to see a story where another batman villain could actually have the leading role, you know?
Origins is a great concept executed inexcusably badly. Just replayed it recently, it could have been so much more. Arkham Knight is better than it gets credit for.
@@lordmimir3099 I'll be honest I could never bring myself to play me 3 again after that ending. Didn't matter how good the dlc was, I was already devastated considering 2 was one of my favourite games and the last mission on 2 was one of my favourite ever in games. It just killed the franchise for me, didn't even bother with Andromeda.
Alfie Ryan Understandable and to each their own. One scene that just makes me fall in love with ME 3 is when you see all the forces you were able to muster form this enormous armada to retake Earth and it’s just all out war!!! Canon fire going everywhere from the main vessels to the fighter squadrons engaging with the small reaper fighters. Plus seeing all the troops hopping in transports descending onto earth for a ground force invasion!! Just love it!!!!!
I think everything in Mass Effect 3 is stunning and amazing...except for the ending which the first time I saw it was just like "meh" but I felt more let down by it overtime. But I can't say its a bad game, it just burns red hot then...fizzles.
TheGentlemans Gambit Yep. On a Xbone S. The cpu is worse than potato. I played TLOU on easy but I still enjoyed it. I’ve been told it’s better on hard. I think I’ll repa it on PS4.
TheGentlemans Gambit when he game strictly has a part where you need stealth and is made to autofail otherwise yes you can especially seeing the last of us is a linear game
It is, but, the reason I'll never play 76 is because my biggest problem with Fallout 4 is that it lacks real interesting characters. And 76 makes that problem worst.
When rach said “we don’t need more fifas” I really felt that. The annual sports game doesn’t do it for me. I wish they’d release one every 3-5 years and just pour all their resources into updating whatever current game there is
Fifa sucks anyway. Get pro evo. I still play pes 2017. Man united got wayne rooney upfront still. But when u plsy master league u dont notice old players etc
Sonic the Hedgehog, as a series, gets way too much hate. Sega has consistently been one of the best games companies, especially after they acquired Atlus.
@@CommissionerHoltZ Eh, it was mediocre at worst, with great music and graphics, and a lauded custom character system. The biggest complaints I heard were that the stages were too short (and designed by relative rookies), and that Classic Sonic was shoehorned into it in a half-assed manner. Nowhere near the biblical plague that the video game community is treating it as. There were some complaints about the tone being a bit off with funny animal characters fighting a war, but considering that Sonic had a popular cartoon and comic book series about him being a freedom fighter that was even darker, I don't give it much weight.
Agreed. Though Desmond's story itself, is rather interesting. Took out the dksc and everything to check if I had the correct game when I saw the Animus stuff in the first AC game
Jules is correct. Dynasty Warriors is great fun! It's nice to have a bit of frantic hack n slash and kill/conquer your way across ancient China. They've not all been great but most are decent
Not just Dynasty Warriors but all the Musou games including spin-offs like the Samurai Warriors series or the Gundam ones etc. They're generally just good mindless fun, which is all you want sometimes.
@@Yndraman Samurai Warriors was really good. I played the hell out of that back in the day. Dynasty Warriors kicked it off for me. I tried the Gundam one, which seemed a match made in heaven IMO, and didn't care for it. I didn't play enough to give it a fair review, but didn't enjoy that one as much. For me, Samurai Warriors original was the pinnacle of those games. When I've tried to come back the games just felt rushed and devoid of emotion.
I can verify this. The MP was the best part of ME3 and that is kinda sad. But holy damn it was a really fun, simple horde mode. It had enough variety and kept adding classes to keep things interesting. Took me probably 20 hours to beat the single player campaign but I spent 3x's that in the multiplayer.
Stoke City that is the popular opinion isnt it? Most people liked it... It was the ending that people hated. Saying you liked the ending would be the big shock haha
I agree with Resident Evil 6!!! Sure, it's not the scary survival horror game you'd expect from a RE game, but gameplay wise the game was a lot of fun! The problem is people judged the game too hard based on previous games. RE6 was more about saving mankind from another disaster, rather than living it. One last thing, Chris and Leon have already fought thousands of Zombies, they already know how to take care of them after so many years. Adding the Juavo enemy, I do see why people didn't like them, but for a new twist on the infected virus, it was a cool twist imo.
RE 6 has one of the best Third Perrson Shooter combat mechanic besides Vanquish. I spent like countless hours in mercenaries finding new tricks and play style up until now. I think what is the problem is that RE 6 is no longer traditional RE game anymore, which i kinda don't mind but i can't blame fans are getting tired of action RE. I think Capcom should have just made a new IP with RE 6 Combat kinda like what Dragon's Dogma born from a Monster Hunter.
Okay I don't wanna be that guy. Yeah it's overrated but that dose not make it bad. Have you even played? Cause you can't say it's the worst if you have not played it.
I'm with Rach regarding Battle Royale games. I mean, they're just super sized versions of old school free-for-all modes like in Quake or Unreal Tournament!
BLScoop5 yeah but i dont see why this is a bad thing, For me this argument only gives Battlel Royale, a more solid fundation, giving It even more legitimacy as a genre.
0:52 Funny, I remember it being the other way around, Fink using Elizabeth's dimensional tears to steal things from the future and then rebrand them as his own
The only games allowed to not have headshot intant kills is Battle Royal (to be fair to others) or games with tough creatures (Doom, fot example) or people with hear armor.
Playing against zombies..already some bullshit so you can accept that a mushroom covered face maybe has some thickness in texture that protects the face. AND that your weapon isn't the strongest. Most of the time you're using just a pistol. Understand calipers and you'll get why some shots from certain weapons using certain ammo can just wound, while another is more likely to kill instantly vs another t hst will have you die an excruciating death with the round bouncing inside of you. Then ask, which are you using in game. I have rounds for my .380 that can barely get through old wood banisters on my front steps while I'm standing 3 steps away. Tested. And I have rounds for the same weapon that just blows holes right through
I think what sucks about it is fighting enemies that have unlimited ammo but when you kill them you rarely find any for yourself, and joel not having a permanent blade even after using an enemies dagger against him
it seems like the problem he had was making the mistake of not choosing engagements wisely. Choosing not to stealth when you’re only against clickers is a foolish move especially since, at least on normal, you can get right behind them no problem, the same with regular infected that are standing still.
The Last of Us has an amazing story (for a video game), but the actual game mechanics are clunky and dated. In fact, the majority of those who do like TLOU like it mainly for the story and not so much the game play. That's ironic considering it's a video game versus a movie, or book. It's not bad, but I hope TLOU2 improves on things like combat to give us the full experience.
@@PLAYER_42069 i enjoyed the mechanics, while hand to hand combat was clunky it was of no consequence if stealth was used properly. The stealth mechanics were good enough to make me crave a return of manhunt with this upgraded system.
@@PLAYER_42069 The combat is actually something I was shocked to love so much. I wasn't expecting much, considering Uncharted has, while engaging, pretty basic combat. Especially since I played TLOU about a year ago, way after I played Uncharted 4, I was actually going into it under the assumption that it won't be as polished as Uncharted 4's. Surprisingly, the combat felt MORE advanced than Uncharted 4! I was amazed that TLOU has combos. Combos! For instance, in order to quickly take care of a clicker, you could corner it against an edge (like a desk), throw a brick at it to get it knocked down, run at it to get a powered up punch (maybe grab another throwable if possible to cause more damage with the punch), and potentially be able to smash its head against the edge. Depending on the difficulty you're on, it may be best to fire a bullet at its head first. Or maybe when you ran at it with the punch, you could follow it up with a nearly point-blank shot to the head (it'll automatically lock to the head). The combat is honestly fantastic. Occasionally, it could glitch a bit, but I never encountered frustrating bugs that ruin it. And as for the guy's point that the head shots don't always kill? Uh, armor? Clickers and Bloaters have fungal plates on their head (and Bloater's body) that act as armor. If I recall, there were armored humans too. I don't really get the guy's point. There are numerous methods to take care of them. If everything died in one hit to the head, it'd be too easy, especially in the infected's case.
Sonic 06 doesn’t deserve all the hate it gets. It had plenty of redeeming qualities. The score/soundtrack was great, the game looked pretty good, and introduced some cool yet underrated characters into the franchise like Mephilis the Dark and my boy Silver. I just don’t like Fortnite. I don’t like that most of my favorite Call of Duty youtubers like TheSmithPlays or MrTLexify just all went over to fortnite in order to stay relevant (which I understand why they had to, gotta make that UA-cam money) and I feel like fortnite just took them away from me. I know it’s kinda weird to feel this way, I just do.
If it makes Scott feel better I’ve always had a pretty low opinion of GTA 5 myself I found it to pander too heavily to the dude-bro crowd and definitely relied way to much on shock value, Also I stand with Ash when it comes to online gaming
Agon Leed I’m sorry about dumping on GTA 5 like I did, to be honest I own a copy of the game myself, I really appreciate how detailed the entire world is and I respect the HELL out of Rockstar games for being possibly the most integral gaming developers behind Nintendo, Red Dead Redemption is one of my favorite games and playing GTA 3 for the first time was an unbelievable experience for me... buuuuttttt I do believe that even the best game developers, film directors and music producers shouldn’t be free to be criticized when criticism is due as that is how great becomes better, I do however appreciate your counter arguments and pointing out the fact that I may have had my head just a little bit in my ass when I made that statement and I am willing to admit that despite my preferences GTA 5 is still a really great game at it’s core
The Life Invader mission is the epitome of why I dislike GTA5. There is no gameplay in that mission. It's an instruction-following simulator. The rest of the game is very similar. No player agency. Also, the story was bad. Too many writers pulling the story in different directions to produce an incohesive whole.
The deadliest weapon isn’t a gun in the last of us, the deadliest weapon is...a bottle. I’ll own all those damn clickers with a bottle hahaha. Played that game like 10 times.
The whole "PC master race/console peasant" thing is pathetic. At the end of the day we are all gamers, does it really bother you that much if someone is playing on a different platform? + PC master race sounds like the SJW/NPC final goal :P . And Overwatch. I utterly despise that game. the characters are beyond annoying, gameplay is boring and streams are horrible to watch. full of bad losers and winners. (people playing as the wrong characters because "everyone knows that you can't play as x if they have a y on the team", and "thats my character, you can't play as my character because bla bla bla").
Honestly the whole "PC Master Race" schtick is just a joke. Usually PC gamers don't care about console players sticking to console. The reason why they are called peasants is because there are console players who are ignorant and spread lies trying to justify playing on console. It's the same with PC elitists. And I agree with Overwatch. A game that was a giant had toppled down due to the developers focusing on making things politically correct rather than developing their own fucking game. I wish the game would die.
@@WilkesBarreWrestling Consoles don't realize that when they use the whole "exclusives" argument, they have to come to a conclusion that without them, their console wouldn't be as great as they think it is.
It really is pathetic. Most of the pc crowd is actually really cool and are just joking when they say things Ike that but others are just unbearable. It just shows goes to show a toxic some gamers can be
i agree with the mass effect ending opinion to an extent. i think people were really expecting something that was just unrealistic to accomplish. i would have liked a little more diversity in the endings, maybe factoring in the results of some of the bigger decisions but all in all i think we got about what it was realistic to expect.
@Psycho Flicks Productions GTA was an ambitious game that to me failed to live up to the hype. I enjoyed GTA:SA, GTA 4 and RDR1 but GTA 5 felt like a 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. Aside from some questionable gameplay mechanics (I hated the driving physics and the removal of crouch amongst others) and the laser like focus on only supporting GTA Online post release... I was underwhelmed. May be my expectations were too high. Oh and I was being a bit over the top in my opinion. Honestly, my opinion overall is that it's a "MEH!" game.
DoughLlama I liked messing around in Zombies, but I think the plot for it is far too convoluted and in at least some parts, frankly stupid. Especially by the time of the moon map. ...and by like round 30 regardless of map, you’ve single-handedly killed a small town or two worth in zombies. Ignoring ammo issues, and assuming the map Nacht Der Untoten but At that point, there shouldn’t be enough Zombies left nearly to keep coming at you like they do
The bit about Assassin's Creed made me laugh. I agree with the sentiment about the animus, I just don't think it detracts from the games to the same extent. It's just something to put up with in an otherwise great series. Having said that, things like The Fade in Dragon Age completely put me off playing, if we're talking about sequences unnecessarily shoehorned into games.
Very unpopular opinion. Gta 4 is boring and not even that good as a “mature” game. The characters were not very interesting and the missions were all incredibly boring. The choices weren’t even that good. I played San Andreas around the same time and I enjoyed the story, missions and characters way more. I haven’t played 5 in a long time but from what I remember it had more interesting characters(at least next to 4) and way better missions. To be fair though I haven’t played the dlc for 4 and the environment and mechanics were really impressive
IV was incredibly boring. I played it at my cousin's house when it first came out, and I got it years later. I thought to myself "I found this game fun?"
I party agree with him, because of the points he makes - especially the Trevor part. I enjoyed playing GTA V, but Trevor was too much and kinda disgusting and disturbing - sometimes funny but most of the time disgusting und awful. And the Torture Mission was a mess too - made me nearly break up the game. While on the other hand Michael was a very fun to play character with his Tony Soprano satire story. Franklin was okay, too. Otherwise IV was my least favorite GTA game and I didn't enjoy the serious, gritty, grey, tone and setting, it also felt like an incomplete game - but Nico otherall was a great character.
I cannot aim with the controller.. I usually stealth throught the game and when I was spotted, I would stay very claim and accepted that I was going to die. Still my favourite game ever though.
I was upset i couldnt just be trevor or michael in the end, i would not mind being franklin if he matured into a Denzel Washington kinda character in the end but i hate the gang banger personna he carries with him.
Uncharted 1 and 2 (which I love) are the only ones in the series that deserve even half the praise they got, Batman Arkham Knight's Batmobile gameplay is mostly great the Wii U was worth it for Smash Bros alone, and I stopped playing Breath of the Wild two hours in because I was bored the entire time.
That is the main factor that had me miss out on Dead Rising for like 3 years, the text was unreadable without an HDTV and those were still kinda expensive at that point.
@@mathewm6294 yep, and I was pretty broke growing up. Frankly I was happy I had a tv and xbox at all. I remember the missions in Dead Rising were nearly impossible without reading the text.
Be careful, Fallout New Vegas is very sacred in the Fallout community, and saying anything bad about it will be considered sacrilege. Watch out for the armchair warriors, *here they come!* (Even though I kind of like Fallout New Vegas)
ShadowCatalyst1 it’s understandable, New Vegas is my favorite games but Fallout 3 has a darker, grittier feel to it and was the first fallout game for a lot of fans (including myself). As long as someone doesn’t say 76 is their favorite then I think their opinion is valid
I don’t like how fallout 3 plays, mostly the combat. Still, it’s a great game. Vegas is a bit better in my opinion. They improved the gunplay and everything else.
Difficulty within reason is great But if it takes 14 headshots to kill a zombie (like the guy said) that's bullshit and you know it, I shouldn't have to explain why
With Dark souls 2, I like that they did try to do something different and go into soo many different ideas for areas, bosses and mechanics. Even though they failed at giving us all of what was presented to us in the trailers and gameplay. Dark souls 3 was excellent yes, but did try and rely on giving us what we’ve already seen before like anor londo which was just lazy
Hating Dark Souls 2 is a popular opinion anyway. I actually really enjoyed it and prefer it to 1. People keep complaining about how unfair it is, but to me the combat didn't change. You just have to adapt, and of course, git gud. To me, 3 was a pretty polished rehash of 1. In fact 3 was to 1 as The Force Awakens was to the original Star Wars trilogy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed 3.
Online play has ruined video gaming, it encourages microtransactions, I find it far more fun sitting down and playing a story mode/adventure mode than I do spending hours online facing off against online bugs, hackers, try-hards, I feel it just makes playing the game not fun anymore, the developers tend to sacrifice a great storyline for online, they sacrifice fun single player gameplay because all they focus on is online, it's like Call of Duty, they've become so online focussed that the single player stuff, is utter garbage, the last good call of duty single player gameplay that I genuinely enjoyed was World at War
I've never understood the "We don't need..." argument, simply because we don't "need" anything, but there are people who want the thing in question (be it a movie, videogame, book, etc). If you feel that you don't need something, then don't get it. That way, you don't have it, while the people who are for "the thing" can own it. Everybody wins.
The only thing I hated in GTA 4 was the driving, I absolutely hated driving in that game, everything else was fine. RDR 2 went for a more narrative approach which I appreciate, but combat, gameplay, and mechanics were really stiff. GTA 5 had really smooth mechanics, combat, and driving but really the story never stuck like the other two.
Scarlet Psycho Wolf I felt GTA V went to far the other way. They ended up making the driving way to simple, with every car being very quick and very light. Which ended up making them feel boring. The same for the combat too, guns had no punch and NPCs died way to quickly and with no feel or response. I used to hate the driving of GTA IV, and I still do think it has problems, but after going back to it after playing GTA V it felt far more satisfying. Same goes for the combat.
Id add in Zelda, Need For Speed, Deadrising, Mario, and Dark Souls. Then I'd remove Assassins Creed tbh. The only ones I liked were 2, and Brotherhood.
I dislike The Last of Us for different reason. Its sooooo basic. "Oh no, an empty room with waist high cover. I wonder what's gonna happen." Its a basic 3rd person cover shooter. Naughty dog can do so much better.
Come on then. Throw YOUR bad takes at us. The best/worst I'll pin. 👀

Let's wait for Pacman 2 and see what they do.
jose luis arrese dude seriously, it’s full of choice, you can go anywhere you want and it’s full of diverse enemies

Shut up, Ash!
Fifa needs to die, is pay to win and the EXACT same game every year but with better graphics. I would be ok with it if it wasn't £60 every year.
But sudden team roster. And license
Dont buy it then bro. I prefer the yearly releases for sports games.
I don't care for multiplayer online. I'd rather have split screen. It's more fun seeing your opponent (just ask Switch players).
Not for me it doesn't create that tension I'm looking for I understand where you're coming from
It ain’t fun it just impairs both players by having a weird aspect ratio and opens things up to cheese.
Console wars are ultimately pointless.
Long live Xbox.
Long live PlayStation.
Long live Nintendo.

It's useless and pointless. It just keys you play video games. Not control your life.
I wouldn't say pointless. It creates massive competition between developers, which in turn make massive strides forward in devoloping new and cool ways to game.
But i 100% agree with you, if we look at it superfically.
I just like the competition
Back in the day it was all about the console wars they mattered
I play on console but I understand why pc gamers hate us. Many games have been dumbed down so the casual console plebians wouldn't run away from it and so it could run smoothly on consoles. As a fan of complexity, I get the hate.

@@sigoy I know right these people just comment something from the video as if we are blind or deaf .
I know right! Go play Call of Duty or Fortnite
My worst gaming opinion? I think online play is hot garbage, hate it give me a good singleplayer any day

Qrowzy I would skip syndicate unless you are just looking for a fun adventure, but if not, I’d personally go straight into AC: Origins and Odyssey.
It's takes each ending and makes them truly unique, gives resolution for your team and the universe, and still manages to leave 'lots of speculation for everyone.'
Oh and if the Starchild was the Catalyst and no-one but Shepard knew it was there, then how did anyone add it to the plans for the Crucible? You can't build something to use a part that you don't know exists.
My controversial opinion : Assassins Creed Unity IN ITS CURRENT STATE is really good. The assassinations are some of the best in the franchise, it introduced different ways of killing a target, it was the first one to have proper stealth, the story was alright, and it had actually good murder mystery missions. The bad reviews it got are not justified anymore after the bugs are patched.

Matheus Moraes stealth has always been a bit doodoo in assassins creed games haha

Eh, it was mediocre at worst, with great music and graphics, and a lauded custom character system.

Resident evil is the one without any identity and ultimately the worst numbered entry
I agree RE6 gets way to much hate from nostalgia blind fans.

When he said the last of us my heart dropped

Thank you im a xbox and ps gamer
*GAMERS RISE UP*
It really is pathetic. Most of the pc crowd is actually really cool and are just joking when they say things Ike that but others are just unbearable. It just shows goes to show a toxic some gamers can be

@@davecarsley8773 nope. its more like a compliment. calling someone beautiful does not at all classify as a creepy statement
i agree with the mass effect ending opinion to an extent. i think people were really expecting something that was just unrealistic to accomplish. i would have liked a little more diversity in the endings, maybe factoring in the results of some of the bigger decisions but all in all i think we got about what it was realistic to expect.
Honestly only channel I watch about peoples opinions. Not watered down for kids just plain normal banter on games. Awesome channel!
Crash team racing shits on mario cart
Yeah. I heard "Diddy Kong Racing is better than Mario Kart" and I was like ' yeah, OK, fair enough. But CTR eats them both for breakfast'.
Well everybody knows that

Hate gta 5 and hate online gaming!!!!
Cool concept of a video (:
Lidor Mordechay Agreed! Online gaming is the most overrated innovation in gaming and GTA 5 is utter 🗑... I said it!
@@DirectorWestfield GTA 5 is great. R* and take two can take one.
Gta iv is the first one ive played so even though I agree I have a soft spot for it
Uncharted 4 is the best Uncharted game.
2 is my fav, the 4, then 1, then 3
Thank You! but no one listens to me since I think 3 is better than 2 (they're all amazing games though)
@@YTBooBooKeys Mine goes 4, Lost Legacy, 2, 3, 1.
better run before the uncharted 2 fans see this
And that’s not saying much
Zombies is the best COD game mode and far superior to the multiplayer and campaign
I agree, except for black ops 1 campaign. That plot twist was amazing!
I disagree but I suck at it
The campaigns on PS2 were actually worth playing. But, yeah, Zombies is sadly better than any campaign post-Big Red One.
DoughLlama I liked messing around in Zombies, but I think the plot for it is far too convoluted and in at least some parts, frankly stupid. Especially by the time of the moon map. ...and by like round 30 regardless of map, you’ve single-handedly killed a small town or two worth in zombies. Ignoring ammo issues, and assuming the map Nacht Der Untoten but At that point, there shouldn’t be enough Zombies left nearly to keep coming at you like they do
Oblivion is better than Skyrim.
Not sure if that's unpopular or not. It's just true imo.
i got in this debate with my roommate today. Skyrim is ugly and boring. Oblivion is pleasant and exciting.
I think oblivion is better than morrowind not gonna lie.
It's not unpopular per se it was just rough around the edges and poorly made in some places such as the voice acting
True
Haven't played oblivion but I just don't like Skyrim
I cried at the ending of Mass Effect 3 and everyone I know has also cried at the end.
Mass effect 3 was alright. It's just that ME2 was sooooo good
Damn straight
Mass Effect 2’s story was amazing, but the actual gameplay was lackluster.
And now I love Rach even more because I agree with her that we don't need so many Call Of Duty and Assassins Creed games.
But the next call of duty is going to be set in the future!
@@rockgod6180 same but it was at my friend's house
4 does a have boring story, but the DLC stories we're actually way better than the story in 5, especially The Ballad of Gay Tony.
@@rockgod6180 i dont even remember gta v ending or who the villain was , it was garbage , i dont like any chatacter
Chris Richfield The Ballad of Gay Tony was my favorite part of GTA IV, it was my favorite gta story
GTA V? I understand it ain't good as SA, but have he ever played IV
I haven’t played many video games for the past few years but I watch these videos cause the dynamic between y’all is so entertaining
I loved the last of us combat btw
Landon Perez yeah but only the malee combat
I cannot aim with the controller.. I usually stealth throught the game and when I was spotted, I would stay very claim and accepted that I was going to die. Still my favourite game ever though.

Gta 5 the worst. Hell no. I disagree.
I was upset i couldnt just be trevor or michael in the end, i would not mind being franklin if he matured into a Denzel Washington kinda character in the end but i hate the gang banger personna he carries with him.

Well done Sherlock! You solved the mystery!
In a fighting game the only reason why I should die is by a person hitting me in the face. I shouldn't fall, die to a random item or ring out.
Dragon Age II was actually pretty good. Fight me.

Hell,i had a good time with it. Better than Inquisition in my opinion
I don't hate DA2
I just hated Hawkes voice. Couldn’t look past it 😭
I agree. Unfinished, but still very playable. in fact, the most easily re-playable of the franchise for me.
Agree completely about both 'Bioshock: Infinite' and 'GTA5.'
That is 'good' so 'well done'

I had an old crappy tv when I got Assanins creed 1 so the text was all white and blurry and I had no damn clue what to do for years
That is the main factor that had me miss out on Dead Rising for like 3 years, the text was unreadable without an HDTV and those were still kinda expensive at that point.
@@mathewm6294 yep, and I was pretty broke growing up. Frankly I was happy I had a tv and xbox at all. I remember the missions in Dead Rising were nearly impossible without reading the text.
Rocket League should be a real-life motor sport. Also, Death Race.
Rocket league should be a real life motor sport. But as a game, it's hella dumb
Fallout 3 is one of my most favorite games of all time and I really didn't like New Vegas.
....now time for some angry comments *cracks knuckles*

I think that guy just sucks at the last of us lmao
I think so because if you're a good shot it is actually quite easy to kill runner/ stalkers
He seems to be bad at video games with any difficulty
Difficulty within reason is great
But if it takes 14 headshots to kill a zombie (like the guy said) that's bullshit and you know it, I shouldn't have to explain why
I was thinking the same besides i rarely shot clickers it's easier to shank them
No I get it, I love the story of last of us but took 1½ years to finish because I hated the actual gameplay
I really enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda. Once it was patched it wasn't nearly as bad as some people would have you think.
samus13492 the thing about it, is nobody wanted it. Mass effect was never open world, and me 1 to 3 had good characters.

Demon's Souls is better than all Dark Souls games.
I actually really likes mass effect andromeda and am very upset their wont be a sequel
Damn, Rach looks *dynamite* in that getup!
100% agree with the GTA5 take. I loved the more serious nature of 4 and Red Dead 2. Hopefully R* goes back to that style for GTA6.
Scarlet Psycho Wolf
I felt GTA V went to far the other way.
I didn't think I could dislike Scott more
i also love mass effect 3 . the ending didnt bother me .
In Bioshock Infinite you can solve a puzzle or get through a "hard" part without even realizing you just did.
Best franchises for me...
Uncharted
Last of us
Grand Theft auto
Assasians creed
God of war
Id add in Zelda, Need For Speed, Deadrising, Mario, and Dark Souls. Then I'd remove Assassins Creed tbh. The only ones I liked were 2, and Brotherhood.
I'd like to point that in my humble opinion no game franchise even comes close to the insane quality of the Soulsborne franchise
DarkSouls 2 PvP on the bridge was and is king.
I dislike The Last of Us for different reason. Its sooooo basic. "Oh no, an empty room with waist high cover. I wonder what's gonna happen." Its a basic 3rd person cover shooter. Naughty dog can do so much better.
I love angry Rach. That accent and the heat behind it is just magic to hear. Instant grin.
