Queens & Cannons shogi V2

Here is my 2nd version of Queens & Cannons. I forgot to mention that the only piece that can drop for checkmate is the pawn, this being opposite to the normal rule. Looking forwards to your comments, cheers Tori.

I also like Paulowich Whale Shogi a lot. It's very playable and I like it more than Tori Shogi.

I haven't played whale shogi, it's 6x6 as well, and I see that one of the pieces can jump, I must try it. I did not like tori shogi much, I felt the board was too crowded.

@@toriwatson9655 Paulowich Whale Shogi is 7x7 version. It's mentioned in Wiki. Also there are a version of Whale Shogi with one different piece - a Beluga Whale instead of Grey Whale.
A Beluga Whale slides diagonally forward or vertically backward any number of squares.

@@user-em8hp9ck7w oh, I found it, I didn't realize there were two versions of whale shogi. They both look like they would be interesting games!
