I have a few questions, sorry if you’ve mentioned it and I just didn’t catch it throughout the video… Once you ship the all items out to Amazon it’ll just sit in their warehouse till the items get bought correct? I wanna do this but what are the chances the items don’t get sold at all for months? Have you had months where there’s still a lot of inventory of yours that haven’t been sold
I needed this video, I was trying to figure how to get ungated, i was like im not spending $100 for 10 products i found for $28/pc. I can buy the same brand from trusted stores cheaper and save money. Thanks man, your vids really helping me!
Totally new student in this field, you mentioned towards the end about ungating for a product and how to go about it, my question is for products like the toys and office supplies you purchased from ross do those products/brands not require ungating or is there a mass product line/brands that are open to sell for anyone with a amazon seller account?
Do you need a seller permit so you are paying taxes and the customer paying tax or how does that work and how do you use the permit once you have it at retail stores. Thanks
10:45 I thought we were supposed to place items in a plastic poly bag with caution labels on them? Are poly bags not required? If it's not it would definitely save me some time packing (At the moment I'm selling used books and making the transition to wholesale goods)
@@FieldsofProfit Thanks for the reply, I appreciate the work and valuable information you give in each video you make. Your videos have truly simplified the process on Amazon selling and I'm extremely grateful for stumbling across your channel on UA-cam. God Bless ☦
From what I understand you have to get the category ungated first through other products and then you can use your stock that you purchased physically. Otherwise return them.
Typically we buy from an online site or wholesaler for the ungating process and then we are free to buy and sell items in that brand from stores like Ross
Just wanted everyone to know that since April 1st 2024, Amazon added two fees that are literally killing FBA margin. - inbound placement fees - low inventory fees
Inbound placement fees were always a thing. Low inventory fees only matter for PL, I’ve paid a couple hundred in low inv fees on over a mil in revenue since they added them
I am so glad people have started to ask these questions. Amazon has clear policies in place where they say online or retail arbitrage is not allowed. They do NOT accept normal receipts. They want an invoice which mentions your full name and address from wholesale suppliers. They do not accept Walmart/Home Depot/lowes or any other retail store receipts (online or in store purchase receipts)!!!
dont most companies prevent you from selling their brands? Getting ungated for some toys like coco melon or disney and marvel products is literally impossible no?
I’m trying to register for a seller account and I’m to the point where I need to take a picture of my face. The little waiting circle just keeps spinning around and round. It won’t let me take a picture. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I see you store your buy cost in Boxem, but if you use discount codes and gift cards are you using a seperate spreadsheet to track “final cost”?

It's not required, the poly bags are if the item is liquid or you're bundling something together though

@@skater98austin How's your business going? Also how did you start and how long did you have to sell used books and where did you buy the books?
since amazon doesn't accept store receipts for getting ungated, how do you get ungated for the products you bought at ross or any other store for RO?
From what I understand you have to get the category ungated first through other products and then you can use your stock that you purchased physically. Otherwise return them.
They do accept store receipts as long as you upload the store receipt with a picture of the products.

Amazon does accept store receipts. Just make sure they print the store address on the receipt
@@jamarcushorne3038 for the ungating process they need your store name to match which is usually on online invoices not receipts

The part I'm confused about is-- How do you get the invoice? I'm assuming you get the receipt but that's different than an invoice.
Yeah online receipt = invoice

are you using your phone because that worked for me
@@Himmy124 I figured it out. I had to do it through seller central
why not FBM?
Leverage
There is no exact right way, whatever works for you! It’s the best time of the year for FBM
FBA is more scaleable and easier just cost more money but if I had to guess it's worth the time you save.
