It's not my first Chinese drama. I started from love 0 20 of yang yang but after the untamed I still not seen any drama. 3 months passed I am till do not passes on to the untamed drama. Some thing is there may be the reel or real life affection of yb and xz, the melodious music of drama and melodious voices of these two singers.

I can say this was the best drama that I had ever watched. (Now I can die peacefully lol) There's something in this drama which doesn't allow you to move on. The actors did a great job to portray their emotions. The chemistry between WWX and LWJ was so beautiful, even without any physical affection we could literally feel the love between them. I felt so sad when the drama was over, I cried for some time. Now whenever I listen to this song it just warms my heart.

I mean there are plenty of chinese tv dramas (and even BL dramas). many people moved on to WoH but the fanbase of TU/CQL is still there because the show was so touching. No matter if the cgi or the editing was bad, the leading roles and the depicted wangxian was perfect. I guess that's why people still stuck to it. I'm a new fan (just started 2weeks ago) but I already know this gonna hunt me for months😄

I don't usually like to watch dramas, but I love the novel, so I gave it a try. The Untamed is very good. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan have very good chemistry, and they're both very good looking. I mostly just watch the drama for their interactions. Keep in mind that the novel and drama are different. Drama characters aren't the same as their novel counterparts.
I say that they're pretty much the same as their novel counterparts. It's just some some have a more important roles in the drama than in the novel and some important parts have been changed.

Each adaption of the novel is different, so characters change depending on the circumstances and what happens in the script and plot (and censorship). No adaption is exactly like the novel. I read the fans of this story really made it so famous and it really is a heart-breaking, mind-awaking (?lol) this story of Wei WuXian so I guess it deserved a whole compromised staff and this kind of promotions. Ha ha, who can watch this series just once. I watch 5 times and still go back just to absorb all the feelings. Love all of the charactors in the untamed. They all have their pasts which reflected in their personalities and the casts represented those charactors so well.

The Untamed is the first and only drama that i don't skip its OST, i always listen to it every single episode up till now and i don't think i'll ever get bored of such a heart wrenching song .
Not only that I didn't skip but I also kept listening the OSTs over and over again, they dida great job for this drama. I listen to this almost every night.
Both solo versions are amazing! and to think that Yibo is originally a rapper..to be able to sing an emotional song like this is a total hands down. And of course, Xiao Zhan's the main vocalist for XNINE..aside from his knowledge of the vocal techniques, his version was more attuned emotionally as he is more comfortable singing ballad songs. Nevertheless, the duet version is the one I like the most. They do complement each other...vocally or physically..just like Lan Zhan and Wei WuXian.lol
Yibo can definitely sing. No doubt about that. Xiao Zhan has wide range of voice dynamics. This is his Forte. Both did excellent job in this OST. Yibo is a dancing king, on the other hand. Although, XZ can also dance well. I don't want to compare, both are multi talented. As the saying goes "there's no comparison between the sun and moon..." For me, there's no competition.
I'm a wyb fan but I'm sure even Yibo would say XZ is the stronger singer. As you said though, it's not a competition and you're right you can't compare the sun and the moon.

He spend years searching for his soul, playing his piano to call his soul but all to no effort.
So lanZhan did not fully trust WY, is not LZ fault because WY dint tell anyone about him losing his core,& no chocie but practice wicked craft. He dint trust WY enough to ask others to give him a chance to explain himself
February 2023 and im still listening their ost. the cast gave their heart out and their souls in this series and the viewers felt it and cant let go of them. this play let me open my eyes and heart to things i never believed in before

The duet version is the most special among them all, that's for sure. Their voices complement each other brilliantly and it shows. Yibo's voice on the other hand is so soft and conveys something that warms your heart, just like his character Lan Zhan. I love it!

One of the best things about The Untamed is the music... They invested so much in creating beautiful tracks including the BGMs instrumentals which are so mesmerizing and suiting to the scenes they were used on.. My favourites BGM (instrumentals) are wuji and yi nan ping.. They make me melancholic..

The soundtrack/score for CQL has some of the most emotional and heartfelt music made for a show that I've ever heard. It never fails to make me teary-eyed and my heart ache. XZ ans Yibo (and all the cast, director, screenwriter(s), and entire staff) did an absolutely incredible job bringing this story to life. Despite some in the fandom being bitter and nit-picky, CQL follows the novel as closely as possible and the characters are definitely very much the same in all the adaptions (they all come from the same source, after all, so it would be impossible for them to be drastically different or separate from their novel counterparts). If you love the novel or animation, please give the live action drama a try! As long as you keep in mind that some things had to be altered for reasons that could not be avoided, you're sure to be very pleased with the result. I'm extremely grateful for everyone's hard work and what we got as a result, despite stupid censorship. It's probably the most beautiful love story I've ever had the privilege to see!

Yibo's Voice, is actually Omg... It's... Amazing. There are 10000 sweet flaws for Yibo (his cooking videos are super alluring).... But, he is tooooo good.... I can't believe I didn't watch The Untamed back when it was airing. Hands down one of the best drama,ost,novel. Usually, I get bored in reading or watching novel/drama that are the same, I either watch or just read one of them and dropped the other in the middle. But, I got so hooked in this drama. After watching it, I multi task a lot, I read the novel/manhua at the same time. Watch the drama again, and watch the anime/ chibi anime (so damn cute!) as well. Even the ost Wuji (I watched BL dramas before, but I wasn't as hooked as LZ and WY) and Yi Nan Ping (I can't help but cry hearing this song, I can't help but wish Yanli got revived as well) are the best. Now, I'm on the road to find the audio drama. hahaha

The Untamed is the first and only drama that i don't skip its OST, i always listen to it every single episode up till now and i don't think i'll ever get bored of such a heart wrenching song .

Both solo versions are amazing! and to think that Yibo is originally a rapper..to be able to sing an emotional song like this is a total hands down. And of course, Xiao Zhan's the main vocalist for XNINE..aside from his knowledge of the vocal techniques, his version was more attuned emotionally as he is more comfortable singing ballad songs. Nevertheless, the duet version is the one I like the most. They do complement each other...vocally or physically..just like Lan Zhan and Wei WuXian.lol

One of the best things about The Untamed is the music... They invested so much in creating beautiful tracks including the BGMs instrumentals which are so mesmerizing and suiting to the scenes they were used on.. My favourites BGM (instrumentals) are wuji and yi nan ping.. They make me melancholic..

The soundtrack/score for CQL has some of the most emotional and heartfelt music made for a show that I've ever heard. It never fails to make me teary-eyed and my heart ache. XZ ans Yibo (and all the cast, director, screenwriter(s), and entire staff) did an absolutely incredible job bringing this story to life. Despite some in the fandom being bitter and nit-picky, CQL follows the novel as closely as possible and the characters are definitely very much the same in all the adaptions (they all come from the same source, after all, so it would be impossible for them to be drastically different or separate from their novel counterparts).
If you love the novel or animation, please give the live action drama a try! As long as you keep in mind that some things had to be altered for reasons that could not be avoided, you're sure to be very pleased with the result. I'm extremely grateful for everyone's hard work and what we got as a result, despite stupid censorship. It's probably the most beautiful love story I've ever had the privilege to see!

I can't believe I didn't watch The Untamed back when it was airing. Hands down one of the best drama,ost,novel. Usually, I get bored in reading or watching novel/drama that are the same, I either watch or just read one of them and dropped the other in the middle. But, I got so hooked in this drama. After watching it, I multi task a lot, I read the novel/manhua at the same time. Watch the drama again, and watch the anime/ chibi anime (so damn cute!) as well. Even the ost Wuji (I watched BL dramas before, but I wasn't as hooked as LZ and WY) and Yi Nan Ping (I can't help but cry hearing this song, I can't help but wish Yanli got revived as well) are the best. Now, I'm on the road to find the audio drama. hahaha
