Harley davidson dyna front predator mount install

In this video I go through a change from the stock front engine mount to the predator mount for a 2013 Harley Davidson Dyna superglide. Whilst this isn't an install video ( the Predator VCS have one of those already ) it does go through my change to the predator mount. I followed their video • Predator Motor Mount I... as well as the instructions sent with the mount with one difference which was to install the mount in one piece instead of two as I had the room to do so.
Due to also re-doing the rear next weekend I don't take the bike for a blat to test it. That will come later. Plenty of loctite was used as was a crowsfoot 17 mm socket so I could get the torque wrench under the oil filter so I didnt need to drain the oil.
I bought the mount from / predatorenginemountsau... . Give the bloke a call tell him what you got and he'll give you all you need. Tip him a beer too cos the postage was excellent and the service was good too. He packages a new rear mount which you should install as well.
What I dont mention is that the frame is now not shaking as much as it was and the bars do feel less vibrationary. I dont care about vibrations in the feet and hands as it has never been an issue for me so that is not the reason for me to make the switch but it might be for you.
My alignment issues were noticeably changed but are still slightly off.

It was easily seen while it was on that the OEM mount was tore up. They make newer mounts that can take the oil that sometimes gets on the mount and doesn’t where it out

nope but i did have the engine over supported. To the point that I needed to reset the jacks underneath. Its on and the last 2000 kms ( i ride a lot ) has been ridiculously good. It almost handles as well as the cbr I had before. I am thinking of doing something under the tank soon and so might look at the top mount as it will be open to be seen. Thanks for watching!

While it’s hanging there did you check the top mount and insure your not stressing it.
