Magneto did create an EMP that plunged the world into darkness and used mind control on Rictor and Boom Boom in the Fatal Attractions series, the same series in which he liquified Wolverine's skeleton.
In the comics, he has extended way beyond moving metal and generating electricity. He has shown being able to manipulate gravity, rearrange the atomic structure of things, generate impenetrable force fields, perceive tachyons and subatomic particles and antiparticles, turn invisible and even generated a wormhole once. His power is utterly insane. Narratively, he is also a very relatable villain who acts according to a fairly honorable code of conduct. He is undeniably my favorite villain.
The inconsistencies of his powers often get linked to his mental state being highly unstable (depending on the writer) so they do have at least a somewhat reasonable explanation for why he doesn't do feats like this all the time.
He's actually done a lot of these already, or things similar to them. he also once reversed the magnetic polarity of Earth...which I'm not sure how much sense that makes, but he did it.
Nerdist hey Kyle I've got an idea for an episode, in LOTR 1 when the fellowship of the ring is crossing a snowy mountain, all of the fellowship is sinking in the snow, except for Legolas, so why doesn't he sink? is he light? what effect would the "lightness" have on a normal human body?
These abilities are mentioned in the comics. Ive seen him liquefy metals. He and Xavier actually work together and can increase his mental abilities. It's how they developed cerebro. Also to point out he is the master of Ferromagnetism it's his power. He is exceptionally powerful but he's an Idealist. He believes what he does is for the betterment of Mutants, At least his current character is. He holds back a lot. He's powerful enough to flip earth's magnetic poles.
Giovanni Bertocci and what’s on the tip of arrows? STEEL AND METAL, what are arrows made of now adays? METAL. He could make a magnetic field around it, even if it was pure wood lmao
It's about time somebody demonstrated Magneto's true abilities. I've been talking about how underused and misunderstood his powers are for a few years now. Makes me so happy to see a well made video explaining it and getting the word out.
Ghostronaut im with u man; unfortunately this video's context seems more, "why is he NEVER shown 2 be able 2 do more?," instead of acknowledging that he can do all of these things and then some, like we true fans are aware of. His abilities extend WAY beyond ferrokinetics, and closer 2 cosmic levels; changing the earth's magnetic fields, reversing its poles, constantly maintaining asteroid m's orbit and power by himself (even when preoccupied or sleeping), creating wormholes and spacewarps, etc. contrary 2 revisionist history, he was the only person that cosmic spiderman fought and DIDNT beat. magz merely went 2 test his abilities 2 determine if he was a mutant or not, and though he could feel spidey's assault thru his forcefield, he was never in any danger, and left from disinterest.
Comic book Magneto controls the e-m force (and the rest of the fundamental forces, with greater difficulty). He's actually done quite a few of these. It would be awesome to see him do the magnetic putty thing, though. LOL
My favorite part of your videos is how much you enjoy talking about the science and what we can experience through simple things like refrigerator magnets.
An EMP pulse won't "blast us back to the Stone Age". At worst, we would return to the pre-electronics age of, say, 1900. Bad, but not all the way back to the prehistoric.
@@harold6522 Right, because modern machinery isn't set up to function like the 1900s. We don't *have* analog devices around to fall back on, so it would be far worse than just reverting to a time before computers and automation. It would more or less be a reset. And unless we could rebuild analog civilization overnight, civilization would be screwed. And considering all means of communication would be cut (no mailmen are coming to work, and if they did, whose going to use fuel for mailtrucks?), organizing any sort of large reconstruction would be impossible. And given the population density and reliance on automation, society in general would just fall apart. It would be nothing like the 1900s. We would be in the stone age, except worse, because nobody would know wtf they're doing, and there'd be no natural sources of food/water near most people to even keep folks alive after factory farms just shut off. It'd be a total apocalypse for sure.
@@Graphomite Yes, it would be bad, especially in big cities. Famine would probably set in. But the knowledge is still there, and the infrastructure. It wouldn't be worse than what Germany went through, or Japan, during WWII. After a generations or so, everything would be back to normal.
This is why Firestorm is one of my favorite superheroes. He's one of the only examples where the writers realized the actual potential powers a person with control over nuclear forces was capable of when examined scientifically - and they ran with it. At his strongest, Firestorm is a complete master of matter, in all its forms, able to separate and combine particles at will. This makes him unquestionably one of the most powerful characters in comic books.
Indeed. Magneto has been around a long time, which means various writers have utilized the theoretical limits of his powers over the years. Basically all of the powers in this vid have been done. The liquefying metal, high speed flight, "slime golem" type stuff, ect.. That's all common stuff. However even the more extreme/obscure stuff like controlling a victim's mind, atomic fusion, or invisibility have been done.
They've done it: Magneto sent an EM pulse via the Earth's magnetic field, temporarily trashing the world's electronics. The X-Men went to confront him and in sheer fury, Magneto liquefied Wolverine's adamantium and pulled it through his pores. Jean had to push herself to her brink to keep Logan alive and intact. He has controlled or at least been able to influence people by moving the iron in their blood to certain parts of their brain in a very crude form of telepathy.
Rogue's lack of control was a mental block due to trauma when her powers manifested. When Xavier was walking the earth to make amends for all the shit he had done over the years he teamed up with Danger (The original Danger Room A.I. in a robot body), and gave Rogue therapy to remove the block. She has been in control of her powers since.
Number 6 is especially scary, not because I need electronics to live, but because the Big Three(USA, UK, and Russia) have very special computers that are on separate power sources in major cities, but if they are downed like by a bomb or a wave like you're talking about, they cause MAD. So that wouldn't send us into the Stone age Kyle, it would cause the Nuclear apocalypse
Acheron Parthenopaeus Dunno if missles can fly without any guidance or the ability to launch due to all of the launch computers being fried. Generators might work, but anything with a chip or transistor would be adios, even deep underground. Not to mention the fact that a direct shot from a solar flare would dump an insane amount of radiation on the planet's surface: we might be all dead anyway, bombs or not.
chris alexander They're(supposedly) auto locked onto their known enemies. And I completely forgot the implications of EVERYTHING being fried, so missile launches wouldn't be a thing.
Yep, missiles require electronic parts to launch. However, it could likely cause every nuclear power plant on earth to melt down at once, so you may just get your nuclear apocalypse.
Throttle Kitty Actually, nuclear reactors have an automatic shutdown in case of events such as power grid failure or emp attacks. So no, reactors would not just spontaneously melt down.
Magneto doesn't have unlimited power or finesse. It's entirely possible that he simply doesn't have enough raw power or enough fine control to use some of these powers, such as the fusion thing. It also wouldn't surprise me if the comics have explored some of these. There are instances when Magneto gets supercharged (for whatever reason), and I think there have been instances where a supercharged Magneto has lifted non-metal objects. Sidenote: One does not simply melt Adamantium.
gandalftheantlion yes it can be liquified, but that is not what Kyle said. Kyle said melt and boil. That's just about impossible once Adamantium has been forged once.
SweggySpoder But besides that, what does it mean to liquify a metal, if you're not melting it? What's the scenario there? I'm not a physicist, so that might be why I'm missing something. Please explain.
This has only just appeared on my recommended list so- Yeah Magneto in the comics has been shown to stop an army of mutants from moving or using their powers, I think they explained it by his abilitiy to affect potassium and sodium ion channels in neural impulses I can't remember the exact exposition used. He's definitely used iron filings like a goo to trap Banshee and used the intense cold generated by Storm's blizzard to become a superconductor though can't remember for what reason it was needed.
could magneto expand the magnetic fields of each atom within someone's body causing them to explode or be torn apart at the atomic level?, that would be so epic!
I remember his clothes /uniform being made of magnetic fibers so he could control their appearance and density. This was referenced when he took over Professor Xavier’s responsibilities when Prof. X was off world for a few years in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
The last minute is amazing! Most people won't have a clue about what he is actually talking about, but if you study physical chemistry you'll understand just how incredible the quantum world is.
(Spoilers for X-Men '97) 5:12 Recently in X-Men '97, and probably the comics at some point, Magneto did actually release a worldwide electromagnetic pulse.
#8 He could create a hole in the Earth's magnetic field so specific individuals or facilities are fully exposed to the onslaught of cosmic radiation that is usually deflected each day by Earth's magnetic field.
Brandon Reed #9 Changing attraction/repulsion charges and utterly disintegrating...anything. #10 Deleting memories #11 Technopathy, using his EM powers to read the data being transmitted through wireless signals or in hardware.
Why bother wasting all that energy creating a solar flare when he could just stop the rotation of the core, turn off the EM field protecting us, and let solar winds mess everything up?
Pretty sure Smallvile (CW show) came up with a villain that had electromagnetic powers and he used them in the way that you're talking about in number 7. Found the details, Season 3- Episode Magnetic. His name is Seth Nelson.
It would be much simpler for Magneto to destroy electronics. Couldn't he generate an electromagnetic pulse that would wipe out electronics without involving the sun?
Pit Friend the thing is a electromagnetic fields are less and less effective over the distance. So to generate a EMP that strong to cover the entire globe, would kill him because how much energy is bursted out all the sudden
He did exactly that in the Fatal Attractions series. Created an EMP across the whole planet that crippled electronics over the whole planet. The X-men had Shi-ar tech that was somehow immune to EMP.
James Lightfoot Effective EMP shielding was invented in 1836, it's called a Faraday cage...Most military electronics have EMP shielding, this practice began when they anticipated an EMP blast from nuclear weapons.
also it is fairly easy and cheap to shield the power lines around the globe, but the electricity companies won't do that because "cheap" is still higher than zero money
Magneto already created micro black hole in the early stages of the comics. He's just nerfed as comic age went on.I mean though he had help of some other artifact he changed earth's gravitic field and altered the point of axis and such in ultimate world... yep marvel just nerfed him in the patches.
But his powers enable him to "magneto-locate" by projecting magnetic field around and reading its interactions with outside matter. Remember - nothing in the world is "non-magnetic".
the possibilities of his powers are awesome. he could shape metal into what ever he wants. make a army of metal people, make a boat. there is lots of things.
Not in the video, but since magnetism and electricity are connected, it means Magneto should also be able to do all kinds of electrical things... shoot electricity from his hands, shut down or fry any electrical device (including human brains), etc.
DeusExAstra but he finds it more difficult to manipulate the other part of the EM spectrum as it tires him out much faster. So he sticks with magnetism itself. Check out the link below. marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Max_Eisenhardt_(Earth-616)
Magneto and Reed Richards have each other's weaknesses. Magneto would be more powerful if he had a physics degree and Reed would be more powerful if he actually trained. There's a version from The Council of Reeds that trained in a time dilated danger room for the equivalent of 50 year. When he emerged, he was able to do crazy stuff like expand his muscle mass for super strength, manipulate his molecular density at will, shape his appendages to a sharpness down to a single molecule, and had full control over every cell in his body allowing him to heal from every type of injury imaginable. Imagine a cross between T-1000 and Luffy.
The last few are probably a bit out of Magneto's reach power-wise, but if Magneto ever gets a power boost bringing him to Beyond Omega Level, these are likely only the beginning
And better. When he returned to Earth from the Strangers outer space base... He traversed a ridiculous distance at an impossible speed as energy on a computer signal. Much more impressed be than making like a bullet train.
As fast as he does flying since he just forms a magnetic shell around himself negating Earth's pull. He doesn't need metal shoes, he can already do the same thing to himself
I could have sworn that when watching Magneto fly in the first X-Men film (2000), I could make out a rainbow-like "aura" around him, which I thought was a cool concept, if done on purpose... like the effect of his electromagnetism was having an actual effect on the light around him!
Frankly, I don't think so. Earth's iron core is, on average, more than 6000 kilometers below your feet. Since the strength of a magnetic force/attraction between to bodies is inversely proportional to the distance between them *squared*. While Magneto is undoubtedly very powerful, if he was able to create a force strong enough to penetrate over 6000 kilometers of rock and lava and other minerals, I think the effects would be slightly bigger than just slightly tugging the core towards magneto.
I'm using the deets shared in this video for my sci-fi book Asteroid City, good cliff notes of on magnetic fields Kyle. I have cybernetic foxes who have powers of invisibility and now my readers have some science to back it up. Sweet. Thanks.
Due to having access to the electromagnetic spectrum, he can use visible light to make lasers and use said lasers to manipulate atoms to stop or slow down aka laser cooling. He can also use magnetic cooling. So he technically can use something similar to cryokinesis
So if Magneto can fly, then based on what you told us in the "Why you don't want the power of flight" episode of Because Science, that means Magneto is immune to temperature, does that mean he could survive lava? Or is heat not the only thing that makes magma burn things? By the way, Please do an episode about: "Could Saitama break Luke Cage and beat The Hulk, both in the same punch?"
So you're telling me that by this. Logic. Magneto is technically an earthbender, a bloodbender. And a advanced firebender. Guys literally 3/4 of the way of becoming the Avatar.
In the comics he uses his powers in some of those ways too. He actually did melt Wolverine from the inside out & for a time he melted adamatium into Sabertooth. He constantly has up a Magnetic Force field that blocks him from everything pretty much, not just metals. He regularly shoots out magnetic energy beams. He moves super fast. He does have a degree of mind control too. Some of these powers (like his mind control & super speed) got past down to his son & daughter Quick Silver & The Scarlet Witch but they have a greater degree of control over those individual powers.
I don't think adamantium is melt-able according to the lore. I'm pretty sure once it cools, it can't be melted. And you show the frog, but didn't explain that that means Magneto should be able to levitate just about anything.
Square Squid Studios with enough power he should be able to levitated anything and if adamantium can't melt how was it forged in the first place? Even if doesn't turn liquid I can still conduct current and heat which will be more than enough to cook wolverine.
@Dantick09 You should probably read a few more times before commenting. First you repeat what I said and then ignored that I said "once it cools". So after those 2 comments, it is reasonable to assume that your comment about wolverine cooking, might have been with the assumption that I was claiming otherwise... which I didn't. But as a side note... it wouldn't kill him. Not while he still has his powers anyways.
Adamantium can be melted and Magneto already did that back in 1993's Fatal Attraction arc: marswillsendnomore.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/x-men-25-010.jpg Kyle even directly referenced it at 4:17.
1. Diamagnetic materials can still be levitate by sufficiently strong enough magnetic fields. Take water: H2O has a more + side (the H that's lending an electron) and a more - side (the O that's borrowing an electron). That for instance is how the frog is levitating, but just about all substance has a somewhat unbalanced charge based on its atomic configuration. 2. Adamantium does not liquify in heat. Not even the sun, not a plasma blast, never. It can be liquefied only by antimetal vibranium or extremely high level matter manipulation/reconfiguration (Magneto, Molecule Man, Beyonder). So, he's still right, Magneto could create a field to heat up the liquefied adamantium and pull it through every skin cell Logan has. Pretty awful indeed.
speaking of using train tracks to move fast: in an urban fantasy novel with 'urban magic', the protagonist (matthew swift) can do a lot with a lot of different things but has a semi unique affinity with electricity - to escape from an adversary he couldn't beat, he grabbed the third rail in a subway - which has enough electrical force flowing through it to move a subway car filled with people at a good clip - to move away from that foe - insanely fast as like the book points out "a person weights a lot less than a train"
Our Rotation and Orbit are mostly based on Gravity, though a recent discovery (2016) stated that they may have found a Neutron Star or Black Hole with a magnetic feild so powerful it basically equals infinite Gravity(if i can find the study i'll link it.) He could technically Reverse our Magnetic Field though through any number of way's, causing satellites to fail and most electronics. Alternively he could make the core spin the opposite direction which would kill everyone and everything.
Aw3s0me Gam3r I believe in the comics Magneto did stop the earths rotation. But he is limited by his physical body, doing larger tasks drains his energy and stamina.
Magneto once created a portal through space, teleporting himself and another person around the world. I forget the issue. Haven't seen him do it since, though.
Based on the power of Magnetars. Couldn't Magneto also disintegrate literally everything by unfolding your molecules by creating ellipsoid electron fields and thus rip your charged particles (atoms) from one another?
He could also redirect Thore's lightning. Or call down his own lightning. Or even pull the electricity from high voltage wires and direct it as a weapon.

Marcus Floyd many of this have been used in the comics for example the last one was used once to defeat apocalypse
He's actually done a lot of these already, or things similar to them. he also once reversed the magnetic polarity of Earth...which I'm not sure how much sense that makes, but he did it.
Marcus Floyd Fox
@@JackgarPrime well hes magneto. Lol
Could you do a video on the Tech of Dishonored? Mainly the use of Whale oil instead of gunpowder.
Holy shit, that would be amazing
I haven't play Dishonored 2 yet, but the impression I got from the first game it that their "whale" oil is nothing like Earth whale oil.
yeah, their whale oil is more like a luminescent nitroglicerine......
Taijess Basnaw They do still use gunpowder, the whale oil is used as a tool to power their industrial technology, not weaponry.
Adamant Consternation It has similar properties to Nitroglycerin, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Nerdist of course you make videos about *your* hammer
If magneto didn't touch it...yes. He even did so in the comics.
magneto could literally split/stop the earth.

Nerdist hey Kyle I've got an idea for an episode, in LOTR 1 when the fellowship of the ring is crossing a snowy mountain, all of the fellowship is sinking in the snow, except for Legolas, so why doesn't he sink? is he light? what effect would the "lightness" have on a normal human body?
do one on Static Shock! He has similar powers, but most writers and artist seem to focus on the electricity aspect
You can always defeat magneto with a wooden gun.
He controls magnetic fields, as well as gravity, he can make his force field just block the bullets.
Anon Anon the bullets would be like.. sticks? What kind of wooden guns are there lmao

magneto has done some of these before. not regularly but he's used his powers in very creative ways before.
LOL
#5: Magneto used Solar Beam! It's Super Effective!

WILD MAGNETO JUST DESTROYED MODERN SOCIETY!

It would be worse then you think
@@harold6522 We wouldn't be able to text LOL
@@harold6522
Right, because modern machinery isn't set up to function like the 1900s.
We need a lot more Rickshaws there’s a real great market for em
I hope... no I pray that Marvel uses this as an inspiration in some form.
RS Do tell
Murkglow is that true? did they really use that kind of Power for magneto?
fernando velasco
Yep. Type in like "Magneto invisibility" or "Magneto full power" to find scanned comic pages and discussion talking about it.
They've done it:
Magneto sent an EM pulse via the Earth's magnetic field, temporarily trashing the world's electronics. The X-Men went to confront him and in sheer fury, Magneto liquefied Wolverine's adamantium and pulled it through his pores. Jean had to push herself to her brink to keep Logan alive and intact. He has controlled or at least been able to influence people by moving the iron in their blood to certain parts of their brain in a very crude form of telepathy.
he's able to F Rogue. which let's face it is probably the best superpower.
Reep 22 her power.
Camilla B in the alternate reality it was actually his power that allowed him to touch her something to do with the magnetism
Reep 22 They actually got it on in the main continuity, after Age of X concluded and soneone set the universe back to what it was.
Grahf0 bottom line is before all that stuff nobody could touch her and he was the only one that got to make the hump.
Great video, really inspiring when you said "magnetism is a window into the fabric of the universe".
So basically Magneto who wants mutants to be respected, could literally save the world, make humans do his biding. He is the best
Throttle Kitty Huzzah! Wait no shit!
No, but you can liquify it.
gandalftheantlion
If the way to liquify it is to superheat it, then how is it different from melting it?
gandalftheantlion yes it can be liquified, but that is not what Kyle said. Kyle said melt and boil. That's just about impossible once Adamantium has been forged once.
SweggySpoder
But besides that, what does it mean to liquify a metal, if you're not melting it? What's the scenario there? I'm not a physicist, so that might be why I'm missing something. Please explain.
Everything has a melting point.
we need a movie where he does all of these things
This has only just appeared on my recommended list so-
Yeah Magneto in the comics has been shown to stop an army of mutants from moving or using their powers, I think they explained it by his abilitiy to affect potassium and sodium ion channels in neural impulses I can't remember the exact exposition used.
He's definitely used iron filings like a goo to trap Banshee
and used the intense cold generated by Storm's blizzard to become a superconductor though can't remember for what reason it was needed.
I am a fan of Magneto I knew he was a powerful mutant but I didn't know he was that powerful.

Easy way for Magneto to levitate/fly. Put metal in his shoes, then he just has to levitate that.
I thought he did that in his uniform to armor it anyway.
I remember his clothes /uniform being made of magnetic fibers so he could control their appearance and density. This was referenced when he took over Professor Xavier’s responsibilities when Prof. X was off world for a few years in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
SheosMan117
Then he would be walking upside down because gravity, a metal belt would be much more effective
SheosMan117 or a metal belt or harness
That's what I always thought he did.
The last minute is amazing! Most people won't have a clue about what he is actually talking about, but if you study physical chemistry you'll understand just how incredible the quantum world is.
(Spoilers for X-Men '97)
5:12 Recently in X-Men '97, and probably the comics at some point, Magneto did actually release a worldwide electromagnetic pulse.
#10 Deleting memories
#11 Technopathy, using his EM powers to read the data being transmitted through wireless signals or in hardware.

Why bother wasting all that energy creating a solar flare when he could just stop the rotation of the core, turn off the EM field protecting us, and let solar winds mess everything up?
Magneto has always been one of the powers i always wanted he controls electromagnetism. Why has no one talked about this. Thank you

It's often unclear whether Magneto's powers are magnetic or he can simply manipulate all metal.
@Kage Tsuki He literally can control all metal whenever it's convenient, even non-magnetic metals.
well his name is MAGNETo
Most mutants seem to have limiters on their powers that keep them from utilizing their full potential.
Pit Friend Solar Flare sounds much cooler than E.M.P
Magneto already created micro black hole in the early stages of the comics. He's just nerfed as comic age went on.I mean though he had help of some other artifact he changed earth's gravitic field and altered the point of axis and such in ultimate world... yep marvel just nerfed him in the patches.
"a putty army"
magneto is rita replulsa.
Can't send the power rangers either Magneto would fuck the Megazord right up.
So in other words...Magneto is one of the top 10 most powerful villains to ever and could control any one and end the world when he sees fit
#3 doesnt really count as bending light around himself would make magneto blind
and also what was up with the editing there? was that a mistake?
No, I was invisible. -- KH
oh... I am dumb, slightly less dumb now that I have watched this but still dumb.
But his powers enable him to "magneto-locate" by projecting magnetic field around and reading its interactions with outside matter. Remember - nothing in the world is "non-magnetic".
he could make himself invisible except for his eyes, like floating eyeballs
the possibilities of his powers are awesome. he could shape metal into what ever he wants. make a army of metal people, make a boat. there is lots of things.

POWWWEEEERRRR!!
General Tempest UNLIMITED POWER!!!
Love your videos. Magento has used most of those powers in the comics
And better. When he returned to Earth from the Strangers outer space base... He traversed a ridiculous distance at an impossible speed as energy on a computer signal. Much more impressed be than making like a bullet train.
if Magneto had metal shoes, how fast could he travel?
Marios Kandos asuming he could move air out of the way, i think he would be able to move as fast a Hyperloop

He goes by many names.
I could have sworn that when watching Magneto fly in the first X-Men film (2000), I could make out a rainbow-like "aura" around him, which I thought was a cool concept, if done on purpose... like the effect of his electromagnetism was having an actual effect on the light around him!
can Magneto mess with the Earth's iron core
ferstgun lastbullet Absolutely
Yes he definitely can
ferstgun lastbullet YES

Perhaps creating a fusion reactor covers this, or is more powerful, but couldn't Magneto also summon lightning with his magnetic powers?
or perhaps, make lightning itself
He's kicked Storm's ass with her own lightning in the comics before, so...

If he can't melt his bones, couldn't he fuse the atoms together so it wouldn't be adamantium any more?
Adamantium can be melted and Magneto already did that back in 1993's Fatal Attraction arc: marswillsendnomore.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/x-men-25-010.jpg
Kyle even directly referenced it at 4:17.
The writers man that’s why new fresh intellectual minds are needed
This is why you shouldn't skip science classes, kids.
A power he could have is: Control over the Earth's rotation and Orbit. Of course he probably wouldn't do that in fear of accidental suicide.
Our Rotation and Orbit are mostly based on Gravity, though a recent discovery (2016) stated that they may have found a Neutron Star or Black Hole with a magnetic feild so powerful it basically equals infinite Gravity(if i can find the study i'll link it.)
He could technically Reverse our Magnetic Field though through any number of way's, causing satellites to fail and most electronics. Alternively he could make the core spin the opposite direction which would kill everyone and everything.
Aw3s0me Gam3r I believe in the comics Magneto did stop the earths rotation. But he is limited by his physical body, doing larger tasks drains his energy and stamina.
@@Sadovari Which never really made sense to me

Everyone loves Magneto. He's got a magnetic personalty.
He could change the channel of the TV wit hound a control or getting up.
