    Hello how are you and the family doing. I basically just use dish liquid and water. I don't like hard chemicals in my refrigerator with my food.

    We have a product here is Australia called vanilla fridge wipe. It’s probably full of chemicals but my god does it smell good!
    I only really deep clean my fridge once every few months, I just wipe down individual shelves each week as they empty.
    Love seeing your dogs snack on melon, so cute!
    I tried to freeze garlic in my silicone ice cube trays and now they reek of garlic. Soaking in vinegar to see if I can save them - next time I’ll do it in a ziplock for sure.

    • @Selledeshiro
      @Selledeshiro  2 місяці тому +1

      Yes! 🙌🏻 same! Every week or so I wipe down the shelf so it doesn’t get too dirty and it’s more manageable when I deep clean!😊 Dixie loves fruits & veggies!😋
      Yes garlic stains everything with its smell! I was thinking of using silicone ice cube too but I knew it was going to do that from my own experience with other containers. Try to soak it with hot water mix with vinegar & baking soda.. that’s what I usually do and it works for me.. I have to do it a couple times because the garlic leaves a strong odor but like I said.. it works for me!😬

    Hi Selle, I have the same problem with watermelon. I talked to a farmer, he said, because of the hot and dry weather in some parts of the country this happen. I live in Florida and i encounter that a lot, not only with watermelon, but with other fruits.

    • @Selledeshiro
      @Selledeshiro  2 місяці тому

      Huh!?! Good to know! Thanks for sharing that info. 👍🏼
      Yes! Usually I get this with watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew (basically all melons!😂) and oranges! It sucks cause growing up in the Philippines.. this fruits are what we eat for dessert.. and I love it! But getting bad batch from store is ruining it for me..😭

      Yes! Last time I made some I put everything in the jar and kept them in the fridge. It didn’t go bad but the color change pretty quick, it turned greenish so I decided to freeze some of it this time! Yes he does.. unlike me he doesn’t mind the heat!😅

    You should do the garlic with a little scooper and then pre freeze then add to bag that way you don't have to take it all out at once.

    • @Selledeshiro
      @Selledeshiro  2 місяці тому

      Hi Tina! Thanks for watching!☺️
      I just brake the square/portion I need and use it frozen with my cooking! I didn’t have to defrost them!😉 But that’s a great idea too!👍🏼 I even saw someone on instagram use ice cubes to freeze them with olive oil then put them in container once frozen! That’s what I was gonna do but I didn’t feel like buying ice cubes!😁

    Also produce workers will help you find one. You want a green watermelon with a yellow spot that shows where it laid and ripened. You also want to make sure where the stem is it’s dried. I also look for one that has dried lines that mar the green that is where insects chewed the rind when it was young. People say it shows it was sweet.

    • @Selledeshiro
      @Selledeshiro  2 місяці тому

      Huh?!?🤔 thanks for the tip! I didn’t know about the dried stem..😬 I will check that out too next time.. A lot of times there’s no workers around when I shop and when there is.. they look so busy all the time so I don’t bother them!😁

      haha! You saw that?!?😂 when I’m cleaning or organizing I forget to eat until I realized I’m starving so I tend to eat snack instead for quick fuel.😁 Yes! I did it a couple of times and I get annoyed with myself cause I ended up dirtying a bowl just to get the garlic out again and put the blade in.😅 I love mine too it’s very old but still works great!👍🏼
