Great videos on this channel...wish some of those hour plus videos could be condensed a bit however. I haven't found and feedback/reviews on the Bernstein Medical Clinic in New York (Dr. Shaver/Dr. Bernstein)?
Unless you're talking about the show every Friday, I have no videos that are an hour plus long. Dr. Bernstein approached me a few years ago but he didn't move forward with the review. I have no problem saying I think he's solid, I just don't know for sure since I've never seen the inner workings. Dr. Shaver also looks very promising and I've welcome the opportunity to review her but I don't know much as I've only met her once (I think) at one of the conferences.
I agree. That is one of the characteristics of his results that stood out to me early on. I like having a mix of clinics that go big and keep it on the smaller side when it comes to graft counts as it creates a healthy mix of alternatives.
Joe can one still have hair transplant if I have severe dandruff and over productive sebum?. I have thinning crown and thinning hair all over. And was wondering based on your years of experience if is possible or does dandruff will just destroy new hairs and any tip?
Dandruff in general doesn't adversely affect grafts or their initial growth. If it is severe dandruff, like seborrheic dermatitis, then it can cause problems. In general, I always recommend that patients with noticeable dandruff get it under control using various medicated shampoos and even dietary changes.
If you don’t mind saying, what was the ballpark amount of yours? I’m looking into this and just watched this video and he seems very reputable. Based off what most are saying and see the graft amount I’ll be in the low 1000 range.
@@dustinwronka4026 fut probably around 4.50 per graph fue more expensive..i had 2300 graphs..not the cheapest but i don't do cheap steak or cheap surgery..my hair is looking better everyday..and the reassurance of having the doctor close, gave me his number and really seems to care about the results and his patients satisfaction..he was involved every step of the way and all the ladies under the microscopes were professional and very nice the entire time no talking and distracting themselves from the task at hand..i would recommend spending a few bucks more and feeling secure..and getting the results your looking for..
they look great but i am sceptical. these appear to have a been done with an unlikely amount of single hair grafts which of course are in limited supply (around 20% of total i believe)
Better clinics make their own singles where they are needed. They also make their own multi's as well, sometimes referred to as "MUGS" or "multi-hair groupings". Point being, with microscopes, there is a lot of control over how and where grafts are not only harvested and placed but also refined to the point that they control how many hairs are in each graft for each region of placement.
Hello Joe, I would need advice about second hair transplant , the first one made 8 months ago for 1800 grafts was almost total failure, would it be possible to contact you ? thanks
Hey Joe, I'm really liking your videos. Very informative. So much to learn here and I plan on watching more and more of your videos before I finally decide to get my receding hairline fixed. Btw, I live in Pakistan and we've got hair transplant doctors here but i have no idea how good they are. What can I do to check their credibility?
It is fairly difficult if the region you're searching for doesn't contain doctors that are part of third party validation resources, such as the IAHRS. It doesn't mean there aren't any good doctors to consider, just none that are actively seeking outside credibility. I'd say take what I teach, particularly about naturalness, and apply that to what you're seeing with your local available surgeons. Decide if it matters to you if the doctor is performing the procedure (the surgical aspects, i.e. "cutting your skin") or if it is performed in part or in whole by technicians. Make sure you're seeing the donor areas of advertised patients to see if there are any obvious areas of depletion. I used to say look for testimonials but that is such a slippery slope in today's world that I do not believe online testimonials to have as much importance as they used to. Insist on meeting actual patients to see the work for yourself. If whom you're meeting has a result that you'd like to see on yourself, that is a strong indicator:)
There is no such thing as a "best clinic". Only best for you. This, and the other clinics I've accepted as HTM clinics, meet my standards and I simply feel that they are all worth considering because of those standards.
Joe I’m considering having a hair transplant but it’s so hard to decide who to trust. I see lots of good things about a clinic and then others saying their frauds etc. I’m from London, England do you know personally of any clinics you’d recommend.
Hair Transplant Joe Tillman Thanks for the reply, since my comment I did further research and Dr Edward Ball was who looked most promising, it’s reassured me even more after your recommendation.
Great work as always, Joe! I think it's time for you to do a review on Afro centric hair transplants...you would get a ton of views...and I know you would do a pretty amazing job!
Hey Bach. I'd like to. The challenge is that there is a disproportionately lesser number of AA cases found online than any other ethnicity. In fact, I can't think of a single clinic that has enough AA cases to create a video worth watching. If I were to add up the cases by all clinics, it may be something to consider, but that would take a LOT of time. If you want to help by gathering up cases for me and sending the links, I can think about it.
I’m going to do my hair Transplant with doctor Aron this month and it going to be $7.00 per craft with the Artas system! If you can do it with the do it, in all consultations the treatment has been incredible, the doctor has explained everything to me in detail and I feel very safe and confident to do it with him.
Hey Joe, please could we get a look at your donor area with you short quarantine buzz? Few people show off their donor area and with your many surgeries I think it'd be good to see the scar a good surgeon can leave.

No need to scream. Turn off your "caps lock". Fact is, I've had many hair transplant surgeries and I was very VERY bald. My hair hairline allows me to have strong crown coverage as there is not enough hair in my donor area to give me both a low hairline and full coverage. There is a compromise that most very bald patients such as myself have to accept.

Joe what strikes me is how little number of grafts are used to create the most undetectable and natural results. Great video and thanks for sharing!
