So this fight all turns on one question can force powers work on something that dosnt have midichlorians if they can then the fight can carry on if they can’t then Vader is screwed as he can’t do anything against Magneto.
On a side note magnetos power isn’t only the ability to control magnetic fields it’s all fields including X-rays and even light waves he is also slightly telepathic.

Darth Vader can hex/curse people, this is briefly shown in the obi-wan series, which means Vader gives you a fate you can't avoid and Magneto would have no idea he's been cursed until his death.
Vader would kill him beyond the grave.

Considering what Lucas did with Anakin Skywalker in the prequels...he turned Darth into a whiney little crybaby who is easily manipulated and chokes people out when he doesn't get his way...Magneto for the win. Magneto is his own man, he cowers to no one and doesn't throw tantrums like Vader and his nephew (Kylo).
Darth Vader went from one of THE most wonderfully terrifyingly intimidating villains, (OG trilogy), to a little bitch who only does his master's bidding (prequels). Yes he "kills" the emperor, but not before a lifetime of commiting destruction, torture and death throughout the galaxy...as instructed by his puppet master. I miss Vader having strength, confidence, gravitas and intimidation.
So yeah, Magneto coming out on top is a no brainer here. ❤️🎬
