In times of trouble and uncertainty music can provide great relief for the soul, and DAVIE’s triumphant Defected debut ‘Testify’ does exactly that. A joyous introduction to the Brooklyn artist, this single demonstrated an ability to strike the balance between classic and contemporary sounds seamlessly. Now, the record DAVIE himself describes as, “a dance song, not a gospel song,” gets four brand new remixes. Up first, Peppermint Jam boss Mousse T. plays to the gospel elements of the original, with deep, powerful chords and rhythmic claps, bringing a snapping groove to the cut. Next, London talent KDA goes for a clubbier sound, looping the vocal and raising the BPM. Alan Dixon’s funk-fuelled remix follows, with melodic keys and irresistible horns. Finally, undisputed master of the disco edit Danny Krivit delivers his sublime club-friendly version, extending the original Danny maintains the feel, with subtle adjustments that give it a more refined sound.

Was not waiting for this, but when I hear that a 5 min ago, I was knock down, and when this tune base line went quiet and in one moment it started to hit at full, my daughter started to jump from one place to another in my living room , she is 4, I jumped from my sofa and sed: thank you God that my daughter realised we’re is real sound come from. Thank you for this song . I was amazed how my child reacted with here motions :)
