I am disabled, and I have to pick up my older sister (who also needs assistance) in two weeks time, 😅so I tried a trial run today….. the result was brilliant. The guys on the shuttle bus were great. The exit barrier obviously had problems with the number plate recognition, but a scan of my entrance ticket sorted the problem. Many thanks! 👍

Thank you so much for this great tip, I’ve just managed to do bag drop to BA using this method, I managed to find the car Park, not get lost and not have to pay,, the barrier just lifted as I approached, likewise exiting by Hilton Hotel, fantastic, I could t have done it without watching your video ❤.

Alternatively, drop off at The Hilton, providing whoever is travelling has the front to say they are staying. Just walk past reception and up the long passage to the terminal.

By the time u park 10 mins gone by the time the bus comes 10 mins gone then after u pick up ur passengers another 10 mins bus wait 40 mins gone its worth it
If your passengers have hand luggage only, you can drop off at McDonalds or KFC and there's a short walking route to the terminal. There is also a super sneaky drop-off location but people would need to lift bags up flights of steps - but I can't divulge that as they'll close it off.
Arriving at the car park, the ANPR camera didn't recognize my car, causing a minor delay. Eventually, I gained access to Ezybook. When leaving, I faced difficulties due to not receiving a ticket. However, my car was intact upon return, and I resolved the exit process at Ezybook without further issues.
Ooh I'm not sure, you could easily carry one on, but if you are in the wheelchair then I'm not sure if they have ramps. I'm sure you can use the main pickup for free if you have a Blue Badge, although nothing surprises me as they probably do charge. Best do some enquiries. Glad my video helped.

However, as you are leaving the car park I can see you going under a height barrier. I am picking up my partner tomorrow in my Fiat Ducato camper van which is 2.9m high. Do you happen to remember what the height restriction was? Many thanks.
Looking at the Video the two exits are 2.3m and 2.5m high but the official bus exits on the far left that has no height restriction. I am guessing you can pull up to that one instead and it will let you through, if not then maybe exit your vehicle and go and ask someone if it's ok to exit on the far left. I'm sure it is.

Yes same system at North but not sure about height. Buses exit there so should be ok. I will make a video on North when I get time, still do a full time job as well as my channel so it’s tough to find time
Is 20 mins of your time worth 5 quid? Personally I use a disabled badge and pre-book the drop off. Costs nothing. If you know someone with a disable badge use it. You don't need it with you, just need to have a photo of both sides.

I didn't see any trolleys in the car park, there are trolleys once you get to the Terminal at the Airport.

Yes if it’s under 2hrs but when I used it last it auto recognised my number plate and the exit barrier raised without me having to put my ticket in.
