Fangs and talons looks sick! Some of the leaks I am exited about are Aboleth, Nightwalker, Flail Snail, and Tyrannosaurus rex! This is going to be a great set!
@DialatedPupils I'd get into it, but I'm short on time, and space. It's mostly drawing on whiteboards and mats for me. But I admire the gusto, my buddy is making great stuff and it's all from what he buys at a dollar store or repurposes. If you have the time and the space, making your own stuff is great (though honestly mixing in made and bought stuff seems the best way to go depending on what you want).
@DialatedPupils Lol but where will I keep it! I'll be ass deep in trees and bridges and grassy hills before long. There's more than a few times I've looked some of those UA-camrs you've mentioned and gone "Oh man, I could do that!" Then looked around and went, "hmm space..." I'm doing a big paper version of the Tomb of Annihilation, I finally just started cutting out and drawing individual rooms, because the place is too damn big to do as a big sheet. It's probably the best I can manage right now, at least those all fit in a folder (though I did the first floor as one sheet, and it's a big honkin thing, my players were impressed though.) the cut out rooms are easier to throw down though.
@DialatedPupils You're leading me down a dark road...one I swore I would not travel. I mean one bridge couldn't hurt, I have room for a bridge. Ooh what about a ship, my players would like that... 'ends up buried alive under table top scenery and eaten by his cat' "Worth it..."
I'm surprised they didn't make the guard towers able to snap into the same spots as the end pillars. Also for a broken bridge map, some angled/dangling stones you could snap onto the ends of the bridge would be good to make it not look so much like Lego pieces that are meant to be connected. Also for your players to jump across, possibly land on and then also possibly fall.
I had the same idea with making it a ruined bridge. The connector pieces are not bad but I would've liked for them to have caps for the ends as well. The spikes/spears can also be placed below open sections of the ruined bridge to act as a spike trap. The heads atop them also would add much to the the sense of danger. The end pillars or rubble could stand in for worn away bridge columns, thus extending the ruined bridge even further while still making it passable.
Great video. Shame there is as of yet no international shipping for dndmini.com, even though Wizkids announced last week extended international shipping. Wizkids and D&D more generally need to remember there's more to the world than America.
@@TheodoreMinick I hadn't actually heard of that until now. I'm UK not Germany. Do they also provide gaming terrain and miniatures though, or is it just a ruleset?
Who do we have to talk to about getting you an early preview copy of the Wizkids Tower? At a $250 price point it will be hard to justify that preorder without some reviews and I trust and enjoy yours more than just about anyone.
so i really like your content but i have to tell you that you missed the mark on this one. negative modifiers don't exist in 5E not for any race it's not apart of the design philosophy for this edition, the initial backlash for this came when Volo's got released and Orcs and kobolds had negative modifiers. the whole Orcs are black people thing got tacked on later by the lefty racists because well that's what they do. since WoTC is trying to expand its player base and they think the lefties will buy their product if they actually made the change is mostly why they're doing it, in my humble opinion, they won't they just will find something else to REEEEE about.

I’m still in the “draw all the maps with my crappy art skills” stage of DnD.
One day.

We just used this bridge in my game Saturday night. It was definitely pretty cool!

They do rest on them he just never took the bridge off the risers in "default mode"

Did you ever conside swaping both tops and bottoms on the ends...
I did, no difference
@@NerdImmersion it looks less weird when you put those end pillarish things on.
Really like the new setup.

But without that attitude, there wouldn't be The Dark Eye.

Love the new setup, bit of echo in the audio
Yeah I noticed that, which is kinda weird. I'll have to play around a bit and see what I can do

It's in the works I think!
I seen it at my local game store. It looks great! But it is not worth the price, IMO.
seems like wizkids brand at this point
I like the set up, but if there was anyway to have your mic closer to you or something that would be good
Yeah, still need to play around a bit
there's a horse on the bridge, there's a horse on the bridge, there's a horse on the bridge...
Sorry, but US-$ 124 for a bridge that anyone could easily make himself in one or two hours feels overpriced to me...
regardless of what it gives you in terrain (set)pieces, not worth that price.
if I see it at 75% discount I might try it
215$ canadian
Too rich for my blood. Plenty of other bridges, stone and otherwise, out there.
Nope. Looks too unstable for the price. I mean, if I have to use super glue...
To make it permanent, not for stability
Toooooooo expensive :]
Must be nice getting thousands of dollars worth of free s*** just for putting a mini on a little spinning table
