Cali Colombia | Chaos at ChipiChape

Sunday late afternoon in Cali, Colombia. I take a walk to a couple malls up the road. It is family day and the malls are packed with families enjoying the cool weather.

Great video!! I went there in 2017 and a lot of the shopping centre was closed off due to building works.

They are Parrokeets, from parrot family. A small colony escaped from an Avery herein London and survived a mild winter. They now number between 80\100. They are a rare sight and create much interest!

Money changers based in modern shopping malls have large rents and overheads they can't be competitive. You usually get the best rates from sherry looking places, but you have to be very security concious!

You have no choice in Cali. You can visit the Mercado,but once you're outside the Hotels and Mall areas, you gotta have your guard up.
