You even did the Type1 injection toward Duna, did you ?! Kudos, that's a crazy good video with a wonderful a detailed design, clever contraptions and very nice camera work !
@@zhurs-mom Instead of doing a Hohmann transfer which lead you to the opposite point from your start, you'll raise your AP a bit above the target orbit so that you have two intersections. The deal is to find the launch window which allow to have the encounter at one if this point AND in the same position, the Ascending Node or the Descending Node. This way you'll have an encounter even without zeroing the relative angle between orbit, which is very demanding in RealLife. The first intersection is a Type1 injection, about 5-6 monthes, and the second is a Type2 injection, about 11 monthes.
@tehmattguy If you want more people to see this I've asked Marcus House to share a handful of Perseverance replicas with the community in his next video :) I'll need to know asap if it's ok to include yours ;)
The wheels are controlled individually using multiple KAL-1000s to manipulate each servo's target angle. To rotate a wheel one direction I play a KAL with a repeating track sequence that runs from 180 down to -180 degrees, and for the reverse I play a different sequence that goes from -180 back up to 180. I believe you can also reverse KALs via action groups as another way to invert the servos rotation.
Also, I downloaded the rover, but it don't isn't working, the arm isn't moving, the camera don't rotate and the Ingenuity don't turn on. Do you know why? I really want to drive this :(
If i'm remembering correctly, you need to press G to unfold the suspension then press 7 to unpack the rover. After that the camera and arm should be controllable. You also have to stage and press 1 to activate Ingenuity. If it's still not working i'll take a look at the craft file later
@@tehmattguy Still don't working, the camera don't rotate, but go up and down and the arm isn't moving, and even if I press 1 the Ingenuity don't want to fly
@@lindaouau The rover has no long range antennas, so it could be an issue of limited probe control. Can you try turning off the comm network? (esc-> settings-> difficulty options) Might work after that.
Hey bro! Hope you can read it. I have a problem with the signal, when i left Kerbin SOI the signal went to 0. And the communotrons 16 aren't very helpfuly. How i can get signal?
There's no room for high-gain antennas on the craft itself, so to get a signal I think you'd need some relay satellites orbiting Duna. Either that or turn off the CommNet in the difficulty settings.
the way you made the helicopter unfold to make the rover and rocket at a reasonable scale is really genius
Evacuate the city
Engage all defenses
And get this man more subs
not funny
cried
Beautiful work ! The craft are very well built and the video does them honour
Lets be honest here its drone going into the sunset not the rover mainly
This is some next level stuff!
Marcus House brought me here! Amazing work, I wouldn't have thought this was possible in KSP :D

Ehat is a type1 injection?

Words can't describe just how amazing this video is. Literally everything is perfect
One of the best version i ever seen. This is literally tremendous work. Really appreciating about it.
That is a wonderful replica! I love how you did the skycrane tethers with the extending pistons and fuel lines.

Oh for sure, that sounds really cool! And thank you for letting me know.
This is by far the best replica I’ve ever seen
Man, at one second I thought it wasn't stock, but then I realized... *It's really stock*
Now, I know that I will never be good in KSP! :D
this is awesome. keep up the good work, not an easy obstacle getting a model this close to the real deal.
When designing a sky crane, it is MANDATORY that the crane fly away and EXPLODE.
this is so well done :) i smiled the whole way
Really great and well built and filmed!
I have one problem, when i got to mars it didnt have connevtion, how to fix pls.
This is so accurate, even with the jettison of the mass offsetters
That was amazing! Could you make a video teaching how you made this rover? I was curious about the wheels;
yeah
Do a tutorial to build the rover
Really well made! Nice work!
At 4:48 how did you get the wheels to move in opposite directions like that? I know servos have a invert button but there's no action group for it.

Very nice!
This build is amazing anyone who loves ksp and stock replicas should subscribe to u
when I drove the rover it wont brake
How did you do the rovers head and the rovers wheels?
Impressive!
how do you get these camera angles? Is there a cinematic button? I wanna make it just like the video.. 😎😁
my god
My fav part was Atlas V launch
I hope you read this in which version you have made plz reply
perseverance's animation dont work for some reason pls help
Hey, sorry for the late reply. Do you have "Advanced Tweakables" enabled in the settings? If not, enabling it might get it working.
Why in the world does this have a dislike
what were this incredible wheels made of?
When I try to open the craft, it says incompatible, am I on the wrong version of KSP?
You need breaking ground DLC
@@polishkerbal6920 I do have it.
Then idk
Are you playing in an older version of ksp? This craft has 1.10 parts
@@weidongsong2453 I'm in the latest version.
Save file is unflyably slow and with so many overlapping parts!
How do you do that😳😨😨😨😨
how exactly is this stock i see a ton of parts not in stock ksp
amazing video how did you record these cinematic shots?
Thanks! Some shots were done with the Camera Tools mod, which allows for cool flyby shots with stationary cameras and camera pathing.
which mod did you use for wheels
I HEARD CODM WINNING CUTSCENE MUSIC
Think about us console players please. We can't download it...

“Stock KSP” *reads description* I don’t think so dear
Technically its not 100% stock, but the mods are only for visual effects.
