All well and good but only if you have the key to turn the lock so it can be slid out. Can you kindly do a video on how to remove the barrel for other situations. Can the complete lock assembly be removed from the door. It looks like it isn't welded. There is a screw on the outside just close to the handle. Can't see grub screw on the handle. Mine came from
Garadoor but the complete assembly is the same as yours. Thanks

Hi I have this same lock but lost the key. I bought another lock but only way I could fit it was by taking the whole lock apart but unfortunately all the little bits inside came flying out. Do you have a video on how to take apart this whole lock and reassemble it together?

Would clicking the little latch that unlocks and locks the door from the inside not work to be able to get the lock out?

I am thinking of replacing the bog standard cheap lock in my garage door with a higher security one. It's advertised as anti-pick, anti snap, anti drill. How can you open the door if the sacrificial piece has been snapped off? Would it still work with the key?

Hi Peter, I'm afraid you can;t without the key, you would need to drill the lock out.

I'm and electrician so i have many power tools / drills / metal drill bits etc. can i just drill straight through the key hole?

Put your key in and turn to horizontal position won't come out if in locked position, use key to pull. my barrel was 10=30=40mm
