Of all the creator features in 2.2, I am BY FAR the most excited for the camera controls. So often when I'm making a level I want to create some kind of gameplay that ascends or descends or uses a teleportal to move far away from its entrance, and doing that is just so janky and poorly executed with the limited tools we have right now.
i think for the force blocks at 9:14 you could've removed them and put pads in the portals instead, as i'm pretty sure it would've had the same outcome while using mechanics the player should be familiar with for the pipes at 10:40 just flat out replace the pipes with teleport portals or like layer passable teleport portals above the portal as a sign of what they do also for that misaligned dash orb at 13:28 i think you can use a rotate trigger to rotate it graphically but it'll still work the same
This is much needed Improvement these levels are far to messy and Gimmicky hope that what Rob meant by going back and changing them a bit doesn't mean a few touch ups but smoothing out the gameplay and balancing I don't think the slaughterhouse wave needs to be in explorers also I feel Robtop levels might get to hard I mean with all these Gimmicks they might end up having the gameplay be a medium demon but the amount of Gimmicks that are being used turns it into an insane demon cause of how much is going on I honestly can't play modern demons well cause of how much gimmicks and how advanced the deco is that's not to say it's bad there's just to much going on! great video though I really enjoyed it!

For dash, make the block jumping part like a Mario thing, where coins come out the right blocks and maybe use random triggers but have indicators for which blocks to hit?
How I would have done it: 1. The blocks you need to hit in Dash should just be for a coin. The coin in question can also be at the end of the segment and fly up and away if you didn't complete the puzzle, like the 3rd coin in Fingerdash. 2. The two spider parts don't really need a cube portal between them. I find it a little weird that you switch gamemodes so quickly. 3. Remove the pipes in Explorers. I understand that it's a reference to the Mario series, but we already had the teleport portals! They should also pop up from the top and bottom so that you can more easily tell what you just did
The x-axis teleportals makes me wonder what would happen if you use a move trigger to move the blue portal over into the end animation with the other portal at the start of the level, like what people did with the dual portal
16:20 i disagree, there are definitely talented creators in the community but most of "us" arent good creators and rob top is one of the best creators in the community for sure, lets not forget that the main levels should be introductive unlike community made levels which can get away with less obvious gameplay, while i agree these levels could have used improvment i very much hate how you said that the community would not make any errors in the levels, dont forget its much easier to fix a layout than to come up with completly original gameplay, even when you remove entire sections of the layout to come up with some thing a little more original
I think for the part where you hit your head on the blocks, you could put pink jump orbs and stick with the plack orb thing, but there are blocks in front of the black orb, so you HAVE to hit them. OR color the black orbs with the pulse trigger and put "Toggle orbs"
Some improvement can still be made on the + part of explorers Like, you know, being about to see what the next part looks like and not just what game mode you’ll be playing as

To me that cross symbol part in explorers is one of absolute best and iconic parts from official levels but I agree that the way it plays in the sneak peek is just terrible.
honestly i think the indication in explorers could litterally just be a flashing ! mark, which indicates something is happening without it specifically saying "mini ship" or "mini wave"
I figure an idea to fix the part where u hit the blocks. The best way to make the player jump. Is. By placing a spike. Justut spikes next to the correct blocks so every time you hit the correct blocks the spike disappears.
The pipe part is good, but...I think you could make the skulls more visible and put them on the toggle orb, then, once the player hits the toggle orb, the skull disappears, meaning that the pipe is safe now
15:06 the spider orb that instantly hits an invisible spider pad is disorientating. Put a black orb instead of all that because robtop forgot black orbs exist
I like your take on these! When I saw "Fixing the sneak peeks" I thought you were just gonna get rid of the controversial parts (especially Explorers) But I like the idea of having signs to make it sight readable, I hope Robtop does the same in stead of changing the gameplay...

I feel like you didn't make the first part better, bc that part was supposed to show going upwards sideways and stuff like that, and you basically removed the 2.2 feeling of it. I think maybe you should have just made it more readable but still go upwards sideways an stuff, but u do u man. Still loved the video, just giving my insight as a video game developer and tester.
