- Jane and Kent Elliott started collecting tractors back in 1991 and quickly went from 2 to 90 by 2003. One of their prized tractors is their Minneapolis Moline UDLX Tractor. These tractors were available with our without a cab. Kent and Jane own the more rare of the two, the OPN model or open cab tractor. This convertible tractor might look more like a sports car. Unique to say the least. Hats off to M-M for this tractor. Perfect for a father to take his daughter to her wedding.
This open model UDLX is really neat, especially since it is so rare...but if I were able to afford one, I'd want one with the cab..sorry, but the cab just makes it look so much better and more unique...
I've wanted one of these since I was a kid..now knowing exactly how rare they are I may have to find another one to dream abt xD
Don't give up on your dream tractor! Lol
Nice tractor. God bless America!
The UDLX’s with cab had an overdrive that locked all forward gears out to drive on roads. I expect the OPN was equipped the same way
Such a cool unit, unbelievable!
Awesome piece of equipment! Very Nice!
Awesome!
Thank you for sharing this
I've seen 5 (of the remaining 25) UDLX's and one NTX all together in Albany MN in 2017 or 18. I've never seen a UDLX OPN
Love the Firebird
I’ve never seen one of these before. I imagine there’s not many of these around anymore
Yeah apparently 3
And 25 UDLX's. 2 sold last summer for $150k and $155k. One went previously for $200k.
Cool tractor
Beautiful ole m,m.🚜
I like the coupe version, they look like a chopped hot rod...
I call it holland style over erope uk poland they used their tractor to work field and pull trailor down the road always wanted one of lands bulldogs
It's beautiful, does it have a bent able or rim, you can see her rocking side to side in every shot.. We sold our U MM last year after my father passed sadly. Dad an I couldn't find a replacement inlet manifold in Australia to get her running again.
Flat spots in the tires from being parked makes them wobble like that. A couple of miles will work that out.
What's its top speed and did they offer more road comfort rear tires when driving to town?
Supposedly 50-60mph in top gear...but considering it's on tractor tires (I don't believe they made comfort tires in that size) with zero suspension, only 2 drum brakes in the rear, and what looks like vertical caster I'd be a little scurred to drive it over 20mph on the road.
I had a 1938 MM ZTU when I was 9-14 years old stupidest thing I ever did was sell it for $125.00.. I needed money for a GYT Kit to make my Yamaha 80 Motorcycle 3 times faster..
Nice collection although the M painted white like a demonstrator isn't authentic.
Its a tractor. A classic one .
Regardless of a company having sold this as a tractor, when the manufacture puts in a double seat and offsets the steering wheel like a car, then its a car and not actually a tractor. Just because you can attach a plow to any car, that doesnt make the car a tractor.
This is actually a UTLX I think. It's slightly different in the sheetmetal
There was no such thing as a UTLX. They made a UDLX and a UDLX OPN.
Looks like it would be very unhandy in the fields.
People in the country think horns are for when the neighbors chickens get in the road
Looks like old chevy
So isn't this technically a UDOX not a UDLX? The UDOX is the roadster version and the UDLX is the hard top.
No, it is still a UDLX it is called a UDLX OPN.
Лимузин в мире тракторов :)
Can I buy that tractor from them
I would imagine it values around $400k-$500? The last 3 (of the remaining 25 UDLX's) have gone for $150k, $155k, and $200k.
@@CornPopMillerJr i know
well M-M did invent the tractor cab but NO ONE liked it!
When did tractors get a cab? 1960s? 1970s?
They also invented the Jeep but no one liked that either
@@hypercube33 was mainly used as a Tug
John Deere is just better
Back them jd was last home
😂😂
Evidently, You’re one of those individuals that bleeds Green when injured. I have a neighbor like You.
Fergieman
