I have a 2004 Transit.
125 hp, same acceleration, top speed (gps measured) 164 km/h in a straight lane, 177 km/h downhill (Kasseler Berge, was the most awesome ride, i ever had😅)!
I have a 2015 Transit 150 XLT with the Ecoboost 3.5l. The van has tremendous pickup and will flat out hall ass.

For years America was absolutely taken with automatic transmission. Why turn away now that modern automatic transmission is so accomplished?

@@michaelday3253 That's fair enough. Personally I'l generally take auto over manual, all else being equal. However, there are still some very shoddy automatics out there. Here in The EU automatic vans are very rare indeed. Doesn't bother me as I don't have any purpose for a van.
And my current car is manual. Mazda's five speed Auto is c***. The six speed manual far better.
Guys here in America we do have our manual cars and pickups, they they aren’t really as rare as you think. We just have loads of more automatic cars than Manual. Even our semi trucks(lorries as EU calls them) are starting to become automatic

Here in USA, we have a 310 hp turbo V6 transit, I really hope europe gets the turbo V6 ecoboost

If you get the chance, please test a big engine, this engine accelerates too slow for my taste and really want to see how the V6 from Ford handles. I know the V6 from Sprinter but I really want to see it from Ford
