The story itself was neutral until he brought up the issue of race. He said "I was going down a dark lit hallway". How does that infer any sense positive or negative? If it was pitch black I could understand but it was somewhat lit.

Right? The guests should have the same horizontal view as Bobby and Khalyla. Gilbert's always there fake-laughing and fixing his hair and shit. Annoying.

That thing is called a micro aggression. The reason might be racially motivated (consciously / unconsciously) but it's so subtle it's not obvious to anyone else except for black people (POC). that's why we ask a lot of times if we're treated a specific way or if someone said a certain thing because we're black. But people are always quick to accuse us of pulling the race card because these little aggressions are hard to point out to other people.

@@Salomon_G I'm not sure what that means. I'm a millennial. Not sure what difference it makes. I'm assuming that some sort of dig at my character but you couldn't say it in a clear more direct way so I guess that says more about your character.

@@Salomon_G you called me brainwashed twice. what did I say to make you think I'm brainwashed? if you can't answer that'll be the second deflection on your part. And I'll have to assume again that the thing that got under your skin, was bring up my skin.

It’s not really “aggression” though, is it?
