Welcome back! You were certainly missed.I'm a visual learner, and your step by step process (even the redo's) are a joy to watch. Thank you for the inspiration!
So enjoyed this video. Santa looks good as is, an antique. All your projects are so very pretty. My favorite is the stool, turned out gorgeous. Thank you...
Hi Connie, This was a wonderful video. I completely enjoyed it. Everything came out beautiful. And I really appreciate the silence between the voice-overs (rather than the usual blasting music that other UA-camrs use). You are an amazing creator of art, up-cycles and making very informative and creative videos. Thank you so much! ✨💞✨
Hi Connie! I am new to your channel and let me tell you how much I have learned in just a few videos! I can’t wait to watch more! Your blending techniques as well as all of your other techniques are just awe inspiring! Thank you so much!
I enjoyed your video so much. The stool turn out fabulous. I enjoyed the silents instead of the loud, not pretty music. Looking forward to your next video.
Oh I just looove how the stool came out, Connie! That inlay on the top was the perfect addition. I just love how you aren't afraid to try things, and if it doesn't work out, you find a way to make it beautiful! Awesome job!!
Wonderful work again Connie. You are so at ease with paint and creating - it’s a pleasure to watch you at work. - keep on keeping on - Your number one UK fan Deb 🎉
Glad you are back. If you paint Santa, maybe just whiten his beard but other than that he is cute the way he is. I love the bench/table. Salty Kiss is one of my favs. Awesome! Look forward to more.
Oh boy, did that stool come out just yummy 😍 I've done that same finish before, Connie, but I sprinkle the salt wash over my wet paint with salt wash in it and then mist over that so that it kind of sandwiches the sprinkled salt wash and I get a very similar finish! I can't wait to try it your way too‼️ Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Connie ❣️ and for always being such a huge inspiration ❤️
I don't think the Santa is creepy. He just looks old lol. That table turned out amazing. I bought saltwash, but haven't tried it yet. You have now got me thinking about using it in different ways! So glad you are back!!
The table is absolutely gorgeous! I have a hard time with the dark wax turning out the same way yours did. I am not sure if I need to wait for the clear wax to thoroughly dry before adding the dark wax or if I am not wiping off quickly enough... I am still playing with it to find the right technique. Thanks for sharing your projects. 😊
You need to put the dark wax on right after the clear, do not let it dry. Also if having trouble with the dark wax work in smaller areas and wipe back sooner. You can also use the clear wax as an eraser to remove more of the dark wax. Just add clear with clean dry rag and wipe back. Thanks much for watching.
Your videos are always full of such lovely projects and interesting techniques! The paint inlay on the top of stool is gorgeous! I think you're asking if you need to paint creepy Santa because you already know the answer 🤣
Connie, I have a Santa very very close to yours. Mine isn't winking. I got it at an antique shop and I paid up for it but it was on sale. Mine is painted differently. I think you could make it look better.
That Santa is a treasure!!!! I would keep him as is and let him revel in all his vintage glory!!! Remember the Coke Santa from the ads like in the 70s? I think he looks like that........Please don't paint him......He is definitely not "creepy"! On the bottom of the little robin....is 6 3 50 a date? like someone made him in 1950?The paint inlay was a super choice.....you've proven to me that I can do paint inlays. I'm going to do it! Thank you.
Santa is unharmed and I agree looks vintage. I hope you try the paint inlays they are so fun and come out beautiful and vintage looking. Thanks for watching.
you can find them right here. thepaintedphotographer.com/products/paradise-iod-paint-inlay-8-sheets-12x16-pad?_pos=3&_sid=594c51caa&_ss=r and Rose Chintz thepaintedphotographer.com/products/rose-chintz-iod-paint-inlay-12x16-pad?_pos=2&_sid=594c51caa&_ss=r Thanks for watching
Forgive me but there is way too much silence. Maybe a little music? Most people I watch talk through, explaining everything but that's not everyone's style. I do enjoy your projects! And oh my, love that .chippy stool!
Thanks for the comment, I've had people tell me they don't want the music so was trying to please others. I will try to find a good balance for everyone. Thank you for watching and the comments. I love to hear what others think so I can improve.
@The Painted Photographer hmmm, well, that's so interesting!. It's true what they say...ya can't make everybody happy! I appreciate your response. I guess you should do what makes you happy. I'll keep watching!
Your pieces are beautiful. You didn’t take the price tag off the bottom of one of the candle sticks that’s just something I noticed… sorry. There’s a lot of silence in between steps. I thought there was something wrong with my phone ???
Thanks for the tips, I did remove the price tag just missed it during the filming. I have 50/50 mix with those that want quiet and those that want music. We'll find the happy medium, keep watching. :)
Connie you do just a great Job on your items, I just don’t understand why everyone is painting everything Green, Some of us in the world hate Green, I have never liked it, I Love Blues, and hardly no one paints anything Blue, Maybe I must be out of Style LOL
Welcome back! You were certainly missed.I'm a visual learner, and your step by step process (even the redo's) are a joy to watch. Thank you for the inspiration!

Super great to see you again! I wouldn’t paint the Santa unless making the beard and brows more of a white!
So wonderful to see you again! As usual, love all your projects. But that stool, just gorgeous!

The stool is adorable.
