What I always love about GTA games, you know you reached the middle of the story when something bad happens. But you know something good will happen soon in the story, and I think Rockstar does an amazing job making these stories. They make you feel sad for the characters, they make you feel cheery.
Loved how the story made you go through so many different environments. I loved spending time in the counties. None of the newer GTAs could replicate it.

This mission and its role in giving the story a twist makes GTA San Andreas one of the best games I have played in terms of plot and writing. Tenpenny, what a freaking evil man that guy was.
One thing I like about this mission is that when the Mission Completed screen appears, the theme song doesn't play, reflecting on how CJ feels after realising Big Smoke and Ryder betrayed him, Sweet getting arrested and is essentially being held hostage by Tenpenny, and his own sister and Cesar being forced to flee Los Santos. The details are just good in this game
This mission made boys realize their greatest enemies can be their best friends who they known forever making the betrayal even more painful. Rockstar always amazing.
I like how, when a mission ends on a bad note, there's no music. I guess it just seems appropriate. Also, as climactic and tragic as this mission is, it's really where the game starts getting interesting.

Ryder's betrayal never made sense cause the missions you do with him before the Green Sabre were to help benefit the Grove, whereas Big Smoke missions weren't. Also, when CJ kill Ryder in the Pier mission, he pretty much doesn't even mention him again to Sweet or the rest of the Grove after.

The voice acting is so damn good.
Ryder's betrayal never made sense cause the missions you do with him before the Green Sabre were to help benefit the Grove, whereas Big Smoke missions weren't. Also, when CJ kill Ryder in the Pier mission, he pretty much doesn't even mention him again to Sweet or the rest of the Grove after.
I bought this game when it hit XBox, I already knew about The Chronic and other monumental west coast classics, but playing the game and Radio Los Santos made my childhood a million times better
