Which of the Juvenile Acts (2000, 2015 or 2021) define "Juvenile" and what is the definition?
So India has multiple definitions with respect to children. For example the IPC which is a colonial law put it as low as 7 years. With respect to juveniles who can be treated as adults for heinous crimes, it is the 2015 act that defines them as in the age group of 16-18 years. The 2015 act replaced all the earlier acts of 1986 and 2000 on juvenile justice. And 2021 is an amendment to the 2015 act only not replacement
@@SleepyClassesIAS Please cover all relevant GI Tag products with their characteristics. This will immensely help in our preparation.
2 minutes vdeo should not be more than 10 min as it will toughen our last time revision pls limit the time.36 minutes are too long.No doubt content provided is too good but i guess its for last minute revision.
Good job
Ma'am where are all these laws and ammendment written
2 ya 3 Din phele hi aaya tha indian express mein
You can find more details on PRS site for all the laws in news
@@SleepyClassesIAS maam jaise ye juvenile law hai, will this be written in same place( or book) as the citizenship amendment act and farms acts, OR different laws are handled by different ministries
When you adopt how would you know if the child is hindu or Muslim?
It has more to do with the religion of those adopting children. For example in Islam, Christianity, Parsis adoption is not allowed in personal laws so separate laws were made to allow for adoption. Similarly in Hindu personal laws which initially had a lot of caste and gender bias so a new law was made to help Hindu adults who wanted to adopt. With regard to children, there are also grown up children who are abandoned so their religion can be apparent. But mainly it’s to bypass religious personal laws that were hindering adoption not for only adopting children of specific religions.
