@@thefuturekidsofficial I always see people recommend future funk as a replacement. We don't need an replacement. We have French house, but unfortunately there are only few to none artists left that do this wonderful kind of music.
I have a strong emotional connection with this EP, as it was one of the first house EP's, that I've listened to when I was around 15, the time, when the music started to mean more, than anything else in my life
I have (almost) every Roule and Crydamour release on vinyl. Back when I’d buy vinyl on a weekly basis I’d buy anything on these labels without even listening to them first, you just knew the label alone was a mark of quality. Wish Falcon recorded more of his own work though…..as much as I love his DJ sets his original material is so under-appreciated and just wish there was more of it!
i think that's the sound phones would make when you get a call near a piece of audio equipment. something about the wires inside the speaker being used as an antenna or something
The Music from Roule is sooo important! Without the label, funk soul and disco might have been more forgotten than now! you could say that without roule there is no vulfpeck haha :D
@@indyrod321 literally any other of the same genre. calling this simple isnt lazy, its just true and im not about to make a wall of text for it. if anything this sampling is lazy but like i said, i understand some ppl have a lot of love for this calm and empty type of beat.
Until you make songs from a sampler this sounds easy. My old Korg 8 bit one is a champ but playing a melody with one hand and the other on drums is a very weird skill to learn. Then put some samples in a 3rd division and it's opetator overload.
hahah cell phones used to make this noise, if you were about to get a text or call, and you had your phone near some speakers, the speakers would pick up the signal from your incoming call and make that sound. i love that this track just drops it in the middle there to fuck with the crowd lol
@@lookitsguestyt coincidentally enough, "get on down" is a song by louis la roche that uses the exact same sample. came out a few years after this, though.
In DJ Falcon we trust. Total Legend
Honeymoon reminds me of Digital Love.
Yeah, me too.
likewise!
yes
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Because Thomas actually made a bass and simple it. Thomas looked for other simple to connect
One of the all time best albums in the French house revolution. Wish they still made this stuff…..
Wish they’d release it digitally
Your wishes came true! New Alan Braxe and DJ falcon EP is being release. Check out their label Smugglers website to pre-order the vinyl
Try Future Funk

@@___aZa___ Yeah you are right, there are not a lot left with the original sound
Pure PLATINUM. I have hammered the F out of this at parties for over 20 yrs.

French acoustics at its finest! Such a big influence on nowdays selections ❤🔥
New to this and I'm 35. Love it. Gonna skate to this tomorrow.
This is a great EP. Unplugged has a very summery feel off it.
What a 10 out of 10 EP. It delivers in so many ways.

@Flapterp Yes, but I mean solo work.
Hey mate, you dont have an extra copy of the WAves II by chance r8? ^^
I agree with you! I feel like he took the “DJ” in his name seriously, I really wish he’d produce more original/sampled work! He has great talent.
@@dvrstpt Just the one I'm afraid......
love this.still got my vinyl
i miss this record. also, glad to know the buzzing around 7:40 in Honeymoon wasn't just my copy 😅
it was used as a break for DJ's who wanted to sample the song.
interesting, like so they could be sure to get a clean start to the loop when the music started back up?
Yep
This comment is HILARIOUS! I haven’t listened to this ep in prob 10 years at least, and I instantly knew what you were referring to. Love it!

Shivers down my spine, each & every time. Thumb up
Is it possible to "interpret" this ep as a marriage cycle lmao
First - First kiss
Honeymoon- Honeymoon
Untitled - sex
Unplugged - divorce
This is so accurate lmao
i had the show more option and already expected unplugged to say divorce lol
Salut et merci ;) Cheers from France !
France 🇫🇷 🇬🇧 ❤ we love this music

Unplugged is the Best song on this album!!
Unppluged reminds me of GTA V
why is this music so underappreciated ?
People are sheep.
because it is already over appreciated compared to better material. yeayea "preference" but honestly this is so simple. small and insignificant.
@@burnburn645 what better material is there? To dismiss as “simple” is such a lazy thing to say

Music d’initié ^^
Un classique pour ceux qui connaissent la french house :)
DJ FALCON!
11:53 👏
Isn't the high pitch sample in Unplugged used in another track in a 4 beat pattern?
Not necessarily DJ Falcon but a French Touch track
think i might've mentioned it in another comment on here but it was used in louis la roche's get on down off of the peach ep!
French house is best house.
Classical...

I would refer Untitled have the name “ Get On Down “
Because it says that at the end of the song. It would be a better name than Untitled
