As a Lions fan I used to go to his games and every time he touched the ball the whole stadium would stand up just to watch what he would do. He never had a good QB and most of the time his O line sucked. Almost every yard he gained was all him.
Easily the best running back in history in my opinion and I've watched them all. The things he routinely did on a game by game basis 99% of backs could never dream of doing. He could be face up with an unblocked HOF defender and just casually make him fall over without touching him and looking like an idiot.
