Man this is a fantastic video and so well detailed! I'm on a mission to restore my grandmother's machine(exactly same) which has stopped working and lying abandoned for over 10 years now. However I'm unable to perform the step you do at 1:07, which is to lift the case from the body. I did everything before including remove the nuts and the tuners. It's stuck from below the cassette player, jammed almost. Any suggestions on how to remove the case?
i have the same set and the cassette player is not working and the cassette shutter is not closing and remains open. As i watched your video i came to understand that the belt is broken inside.What can be done sir as the door is not closing. thanks for the video sir.
