Very nice pieces you shared with us. Some of us will never see these cars live to appreciate their value. My favorite is the gold Camaro and the Nova. You cannot put a price on a hobby that makes you happy, and as a collector, opening them is the BEST part.
I just started collecting 4 years ago. I’m an Camaro guy 3rd generation is my number one since I’ve owned and built three of them. I go after the factory fresh, anything Chevy, Fox body mustang’s, 80s and anything American hot rod muscle car etc. LOVE your Camaro’s 🤤🫠…………ok been typing while this video has been playing and I’m loving everything you’ve shown! Thank you for sharing!
Im super impressed, The gulf camero, blue skyline, blue mustang and the pink gasser are my favorites. I like them all. Your collection is very impressive. Ty for sharing.
Great video and one of the best HW collections around. Also, loved the last video with the 7 Walmart stops and your candor in between and on the drive.lol. Keep'm coming....God Bless!
Love the collection. RLC will hold value. But these cars, are what todays young collectors. Are gong for. Need to see some old school cars, that are pricey, like those fabulous 57s, only 300 sets made. Learned that 6 sets were different. I did find 3 people with the cars but they won't sell. You know cars like that. Lol. Good show bro.
@@mtldiecastcafe From the sweet 16 I have the 16 from HK and the 16 from the US. Most of them I have restored. Also have other Redlines from the following years after the Sweet 16
Thats a great video....very interesting and shows that you are in a different league from me and I suspect a lot of other collectors but that is the beauty of collecting Hot Wheels....there is somethiing out there to suit every budget. I buy what I like....no particular theme alrhough I do have a lot if 55 Chevy gassers including the pink Candy Striper (it was a present from somebody stateside some time ago....Im sure they didnt pay 000's or even 00's of dollars. I also have the gold Camaro which I bought myself but it wasnt expensive at the time....I will have to dig it out and compare it with yours. Definitely the same colour and tampo so hopefully.....or did they do a re-release in the same gold mirror finish? I have nearly all the 55 Chevy gassers with the exception if the convention cars...we never see those over in the UK but equally as illusive is the black with white roof "Big deal" 55 gasser....cant find it anywhere. The metallic red version is everywhere and cheap as chips but the black.....😕 I remeber seeing the Boulevard 510 wagon when it came out but whilst it was a nice casting it was just another ruce burnwr to me....slipped up there I guess. A bit ironic as I was time served on Colt Mitsubishi in the late 1970's when the Colt Lancer, (pre-evo) was a square brick of a car but went like a rocket If you want to lose some of your gassers I'm your man....I can trade you for my hot pink rear loader red line beach bomb....only 100 not so careful owners and four new paint jobs😉
Awesome most expensive hot wheels in your collection you have and you reviewed congrats.👍 They're all my favorites.👍To me anying over $50.00 is too much money for me. I don't care about value either. I will be keeping all of my hot wheels with me for the rest of my life and I love collecting hot wheels and I will be collecting hot wheels for the rest of my life.👍
That’s so cool! My most expensive one is the team transport fast and furious skyline and the carry on followed by a few f&f mainlines from the original release. The rest is like $2-10 😂
The chevy bel air gasser candy stripe and the chevy nova gasser 😱 great casts up there in my top 10 of favs . Would love to have that bell air in my collection 😉 Great models thanks for sharing 😀👍
One carded car I have that seems to be going for pretty silly money now is the Porsche 935-78 from the retail premium 2012 Hot Wheels Racing ROADRCR set, which seems to go for ~$300 Canadian on eBay if I check the "sold" prices. It used to be the BMW M3 from the same set that was selling for around that much but that one seems to have depreciated by half since the last time I checked "sold" prices a year or two ago while the Porsche has gone way up in value.
Hello, can you share some info on the display cases you are using? I was thinking about getting a carney case that looks the same, but your look like the space is a little bigger for each car. Thanks!
That last 510 you through up is based (they all are but color wise) on Jun Imai’s 510 color, love that olive drab green. Have one that color but in Kaido flair
I really want that blue rlc boss Mustang and the truck that similar to it. But favorite is probably that gold camaro 😮. I've never seen it before 😭. The blue rlc skyline is nice too but their newest purple one that looks blue is better
Luckily I have all of the retro entertainment Ferrari's. Magnum PI, Ferris Bueller, Miami Vice(both cars), Plus a few Daytona Spiders that were part of different assortments.
Wow this is an amazing collection! As a new collector I’m one of the “$100 is a lot” but this makes me not feel bad about buying my first hot wheel that cost over $100 haha. what displays do you use ?
Cool video. I don't have any cars over 500 but I have like 8 gold ek9 supers and 4 mountain drifter r34 chase. I guess I could turn those into a nice 1000$ car.
Great video. Some stunning castings there. I’m a loose collector too. How much of a premium is there for carded versions of these castings? What kind of a hit do you think you took by opening them?
Just got into the hobby. We were using hot wheels as a reward for my 22 month old to pee in the potty. He didn't know his dad loves to collect stuff and he gave me an excuse! So knowing that the cool stuff is pretty much picked from the stores, would you recommend ebay or buying cases? I've got a lot of entry level questions if anyone's willing to answer them
Mine is a 2009 Faster Than Ever Lancer Evolution X Metalflake Dark Red Black & Gold Graphics "DEWART" SILVER FTE wheels. This came in a 2 pack in USA and 3 pack in Asia. Stupidly rare.
@@mtldiecastcafe Yes understand. I did not know how rare that was when there was too many people DM me to buy it when i showed it in some local forum. Just because the wheels is not the common gold color but silver color. 😁
I think you were at the same meet when I picked up my "Holy Grail Car",,that yellow Boulevard Porsche. Paid 3 Bills for it. Don't regret it for a minute. I'm just hoping that the re-release of that porsche that's coming doesn't kill the value of mine. That would suck.
@@mtldiecastcafe, Phil I agree with you 100%. I enjoy looking at the cars without the glare of the packaging. I think too many buyers of HWs want to become investors. Guys, if you want to invest, put your money in a mutual fund.

@mtldiecastcafe hey, you're the one giving it up. i still got my cash and plenty of it. Do what you want just saying don't bitch about scalpers when you are the one making them. I buy my shit from the hobby store not pos scalpers.
@turnersawman I have friends that go to conventions, so they get me the cars. They are not scalpers. Another thing in collecting things you will have to buy from Scalpers certain things that are not on the pegs doesn't mean I have to like it.
