The #sidewalk was #abandoned and #overgrown with #grass . We #helped the neighborhood residents #clean up the grass and trash to revive the sidewalk. While we were cleaning and cutting the grass, a woman threw trash on the sidewalk. We should be conscious of protecting the environment, not littering, polluting and destroying our own living environment. We volunteered to clean up for free to protect the environment and also to send a message to all residents to raise their responsibility for themselves and the community to join hands in protecting the environment.

Jesus-Mary, but the grass has grown over that sidewalk. You have cleaned it very nicely, it can be used again for safe transport. That uncovered channel is life-threatening, I hope the authorities will make sure that it is covered. Well, it seems that you also have such jerks as the woman who threw out the trash, while you were tired of keeping the sidewalk nice and clean! Also, there was a trash can nearby. It was very rude of him. I also don't understand those people who put pots and boxes full of vegetables on the sidewalk. There is the grassy open area, which is not built on, but not landscaped either, you could easily put these there and not take up the sidewalk. We are punished for this. You guys have done a great job! I really respect that you are doing so much for your environment.🙂❤
Yeah, the people who use the sidewalk as their own personal patio always gets me. They're such nice sidewalks, too.

If only two sides of the sidewalk were used, traffic would be ensured and that part would be cleaned regularly. In my country, plants are planted on the edge of the sidewalk, at the base of a fence, and on the edge of a ditch (usually flowers that grow lower), which does not occupy the sidewalk or obstruct traffic. The sidewalk is public space and belongs to everyone.

Ich weiß nicht, ob du auch aus Deutschland kommst, aber hier wird das Müllproblem doch auch immer größer! Rund um die Autobahnen und auf den Rastplätzen gibt es doch Mittlerweile auch die reinsten Müllhalden!😢 Aber wir haben hier ja wenigstens noch eine Stadtreinigung, die sich ab und zu darum kümmert, so etwas existiert dort wohl garnicht!🤦♀️

.Я вилела ролик,когда мэр наблюдал за работой ребят,думала,что в тот же день он устроит совещание и обяжет коммунальные службы убрать мусор с улиц,но ничего не изменилось,мусор убирают волонтеры,а местное население абсолютно равнодушно
