Well, he did blow up one of the turbos and engine during this event, sooooooo yeah. New engine is ideal, plus he's gonna have a manual tranny now. I say he's going the right direction. He can easily stiffen his spring and his shocks. And handbrake is coming soon.

why does haggard garage / ricer miata / and all these guys do a home made turbo set up, but refuse to tune? I know you're saving money by getting cheaper components, so why not invest in making sure it doesn't blow your engine? Shit megasquirt or road tune it. It'll be better than nothing.

+Angel Scene (XxAnGeLScEnExX) It still runs, and a tune wouldn't have done shit with this car. He stated that he was anticipating it to give out, as the 2J had 200K+ miles on it. Even with a tune, the engine was pushing too much power for its age.
Welp Hopefully Rudnik Tunes His Miata Or Else The Same Fate Will Occur...
Angel Scene The engine he bought recently, that he transported with the SUV, was a backup engine in case the current one blows. He's prepared for the worst.
