    You guys have the best and most relatable channel! It definitely makes me feel like as I transition to vegan that I'm not alone. I would love for you guys to do a vegan gift guide. Like your favorite vegan snacks on the go, things that you love to have around your house that are vegan and cruelty free. Those sort of things!

    Yes! I went to Rutgers and still live nearby. Sadly, the place that had the best vegan fat sandwiches sold to new owners and no longer sells them. The Fat Chris sounds great!

    Oats are such a great pantry staple. You guys probably don’t need any video suggestions, but it could be fun to focus on one ingredient and the many ways it could be used. For example: recipes showing oats used in both sweet and savoury dishes. Grinding oats and using as flour. Making oat milk. Using it as a beauty product, etc...

    I make my toddler green banana pancakes with spinach. I just blend spinach and banana with whatever vegan milk i have. Pretty tasty 😋

    YOU TWO ARE THE KING & QUEEN OF FABHAIR!!! like WOW!!
    Oh and i just LOVE his green apple cider cup with those lovely forestytreees!!
    PS...hun tell your Mum that i dunno bout spinach, but grated zucchinis kinda vanish in cooked oatmeal!
    And you dont have to add a ship-ton of maple syrup to mask the taste cos you cant taste the grated zuccs at all!
    Nice way to get a couple extra veges in!

    Would you guys be open to doing a video for people who are vegan but have dietary restrictions? Ive been dealing with gastritis and I’ve been struggling trying to season my food without peppers, garlic, and onions. Not a lot of food guides online for vegans dealing with gastritis 😭

    • @shaft2365
      @shaft2365 4 роки тому +3

      I feel your pain, I have food intolerances to dairy, eggs, soya, yeast sometimes but suffer with inflamed gallbladder and Barrett's esophagus, I've recently had a huge aversion to meat and feel like my body is trying to tell me to go fully vegan, my dietary requirements are expensive, how do you afford organic vegan products. I live in Ireland.

    • @leopardfreak07
      @leopardfreak07 4 роки тому +2

      I too have been finding it so difficult to find any info on vegans who suffer from gastritis and acid reflux! When I was diagnosed the Dr. pretty much told me to eat bland foods. But that halted my digestion 😩 So Prilosec is my savior, although it’s not ideal to take all the time.

      shaft2365 fruits, vegetables, rice and whole grains like oats, millet, buckwheat, etc, beans and pulses like lentils are some of the least expensive foods in the grocery stores.
      Specialty vegan foods can be very expensive and are not necessarily healthy as they are often filled with salt and oil as many attempt to mimic the flavour of animal foods.
      It is not necessary to eat exclusively organic to be vegan. In most parts of the world organic foods are still quite expensive compared to traditionally farmed foods.
      If you have a farmer’s market near you or a grocer who sells local produce it is well worth speaking to the person who sources the items you are interested in. Often farmers grow using organic methods but can not afford to obtain organic certification. Others may not have farmed long enough to be eligible yet.
      No matter what, it is better to be eating fruits and vegetables that are not organic than to be eating meat if it is making you ill.
      Wishing you peace and good health as you traverse the road ahead.
      With grace XO

    You guys rock! I am new to vegan life, started a month ago and went fully plant based as much as I can but cut all animal products regardless and as much oil as I can also without causing problems.
    This has helped me maintain my weight as I try to start to eat muscle at 41 years old.
    I'm working on a documentary right now about the past year and losing 150 pounds because I started eating much better and ty for the ideas here for new recipes to try

    I am so happy you're such genuine, raw and honest people. The intro in which you said you just weren't feeling like showing us your morning routine was such a great reminder UA-camrs are also humans. Thank you for that! It really makes your channel super special!
    Also, luckily oats don't really expire (you know, they're a dry good) but I highly recommend turning some into granola! Much easier to get through such a big amount :D
    .
    Anyways, sending you all the love!
    Stay safe and have a great ay or night!

    Great video and spinach and any greens in my oats don't sound very appealing so I am with Jasmine's dad on that. I wouldn't mind berries, nuts and seeds in my oats. Great tips for butternut squash preparation. If you can find already prepared/chopped up butternut squash in store that always a option that is what I use.
