Well here's the problem. Are we for preservation or something else? A good amount of windfarms clear out thousands of acres of natural,untouched habitat. Becoming a bigger nuisance to the wildlife. Skyscrapers aren't in the countryside. Skyscrapers don't kill eagles that thrive in forest areas.
Not only the Bird are in danger, what about when the Turbines freeze up in the winter and dont work, or if there no wind .

There isn't any because it's not talked about. People are completely unaware of how the base of the turbines looks like a massacre with dead birds.
Nobody talks about how many sea creatures are killed by oil derricks because they just aren't important since you can't see them.

On the other hand, fossil fuels kill an infinite amount more birds, mammals, sea life, plants and insects because they destroy ecosystems around the globe.

"Fewer turbines" means bigger turbines which will make them appear even slower and more passable to the eagles. They will lure more eagles to their deaths.
Look up how many birds get killed hitting high rises compared to turbines... You'll be horrified

Plus in the off chance that a nuclear disaster happens the effects are merely temporary compared to the long term use of fossil fuels.

If they paint the blades, the birds will avoid them. It has something to do with visibility of the white blades.

the wind turbine on the mountain/hill is asking for bird trouble, the birds use the wind rolling up the hill to get a ton of free lift, there's normally a big updraft depending on wind direction.

Around the bases of wind turbines is like a murder scene. Dozens of birds killed by them. Blades do not need to touch to kill - they leave a shock wave that kills animals.
This is utter rubbish, have you been to one of these "mass murder" scenes? And how does it compare to an oil spill?
Without checking I'd go as far as saying almost any particular oil spill has wiped out more ecosystem than all the turbines together.

The answer to the problem of energy is we need to slow down our usage and our demand. So much energy is just being swallowed up by developing and using more so that our needs are never met in a sustainable way. Everywhere now there seems to be lights on at night, buildings are fully lit by bright LEDs at night using so much energy and causing light pollution another way we harm wildlife. It is just so frustrating what we are doing to the planet. We need to do less not keep designing and inventing. We don't need more phones or faster internet. I could go on 😔

Traveling out thru West Texas New Mexico I noticed a dead cow at a crossroads. One month later it was still there. A lot of Turbines in the area. I got to looking around while driving. No buzzards gliding around. Buzzards are very important, natures way to keep disease from running rampant. These windmills are getting these gliders too !

Enormous time scales are necessary for evolution. Birds are adapted to open skies, not giant concrete blades rotating in the air at up to 300 mph.
I've heard of people protesting turbines for this reason and I always wonder if they know about cars.
Eagles generally do not run into cars.
