Enterprise Earth is a deathcore band with elements of thrash, black metal and hardcore. Their recent release "Luciferous" is a deep dive into vocalist/lyricist Dan Watson's pysche. He uses a conceptual narrative structure to tackle issues of personal trauma, mental anguish and self doubt. Check out the performance by Enterprise Earth live at Audiotree.

Only reason he wasn’t putting full effort was the band might of play a show that same day so he’s trying to keep his voice in good shape for the show

I've tried so many times, but I just can't get into vocals that sound like this. The music is cool though.
runawayuniverse That’s the biggest barrier to overcome with this music. It took me almost 10 years of trying to get into Deathcore before it finally stuck. You have to start small and work your way through sub-genres: post-hardcore to metalcore to death metal to Deathcore. Spend enough time with each and you’ll first appreciate the talent behind producing these vocals, especially live (this guy is one of the best), and then begin to actually enjoy them. However, that still might not be enough

sundance kidd their a lot sub genres dude. Deathcore is a mix of death metal and hardcore music. Check out shadow of intent- the heretic prevails. Deathcore is usually heavier than post hardcore and metalcore. Contains of mostly just screaming. Sometimes singing is added if done right it would sound good.
