Avi left in 2017 and Matt was on the Christmas tour 2017, but officially joined on the signing of the new record deal in 2018.

The song was originally written and performed by Cosmo Sheldrake, whose pinned comment on the PTX video page thanked them for performing the song (and bringing more attention to it). His original is much slower, more laid-back, and has a pretty different feel than the PTX cover does.
There are several videos of PTX performing this song on tour - they used a huge screen in the background and recorded themselves performing segments of the song on it, and then displayed it in the background as they sang the song. The combination of singing the song and the choreo they performed with it seem like it must have been difficult to memorize! As Mitch has said, he doesn't know what the song means, but it's a lot of fun to sing it!
Mitch's high note is a surprise to almost everyone - the song doesn't "forecast it" like they sometimes do.
There are enough close-ups of Kirstin's face that it's fairly easy to tell that she's wearing colored contacts in this video, something she's done several times. And Kirstin's outfit always gets some attention!

Kirsten is built like a Barbie. You hardly ever see it because she's normally wearing pretty conservative clothes.
One of my favorites, to be sure. Matt has exceeded Avi’s tenure by now - Avi from 2011 to 2017 and Matt from 2017 to the present. Each of them contributed totally different but equally excellent qualities to the group. This one is a cover of a song by the gloriously named Cosmo Sheldrake. Personally I think Kirstie looks exceptionally good in this video because she’s in love, I believe this was when her now husband started working with the band. Just my two cents. She’s always stunning though.

Thanks, Kaireem! This is one of my faves. I love the quirkiness of it. The original is just as quirky. Cosmo Sheldrake ( yup...that is actually his name) wrote this and it's delightful in it's own way, but PTX did their thing and made it more fum, more upbeat and "peppy".

I don’t think it’s so much the makeup, it’s her eye color that is different here. Her normal eye color is brown and they’re blue in this video.

I love this song cover by PTX I see you have done 49bPTX songs and the question to you is have Any of the 49 been awful? One thing about PTX that amazes me is how deep their catalog of wonderful songs really is. Even my fav bands when I was a kid had side A and then B on their singles and often aide B was a sleeper that was not as good. Enjoy! There are truly so many to enjoy so pick one ! ❤❤❤❤❤
