Consider getting an S-class or a Panamera instead.. Those cars would be great for fast laps while doing backseat interviews I think.
Actually 2017 S Class has the same problem as this 7 series, the seats are very hard. It will massage your back but the ass will go numb after an hour driving.

About the seat thing, there is an option to rotate te base of the seat rotating one of the knobs of the seat controls, please check the owners manual.
I do have it rotated all the way up. Most cars with relatively adjustable seats do that

Cant believe that my 10 year old 5 series has more headroom in the back that a new 7. A guy who is 1 meter 98 and 140 kg was sitting in the back and he had a couple of centimeters above his head. Also the front seats have pitch adjustment.
If you want to have a car with big space, look at the Skoda Superb estate. It is not a luxury car but it has a massive amount of space inside for a small amount of money. The other option is the Skoda Kodiaq, it is a little bit smaller then the Superb but it is still very much amount of space.
Couldn't agree more. I'm an ex-BMW owner, and the main thing that made me change was lack of interior space. They're deceptively cramped.
I think the easiest option is the BENTLEY MULSANNE SPEED, backseat with Sir Borris lol

Even the W221 S-class is great at those points you guys showed, like the seating position, leg support and ride comfort. I daily drive an W221, and know for a fact that the W222 S-Class is amazing! Please try out the newest W222 S-Class.

I liked the extended chat. I don't have problems with seating positions and would assume it was my fault if I did. There again I'm only 175cm... Presumably you could solve the rear headroom with the long-wheelbase version and put the rear seats all the forwards? Robert seems to know what he wants though, and for that money you should be able to drive across continents in comfort!

Absolutely love these real-world reviews. Car reviewers from magazines are 'forced positive' to use the term Misha used a few weeks ago while in really day-to-day usage situations (people actually using the car as a productive thing, not as a luxury gimmick) there can be deal breakers such as the seating position as you mentioned. The only real way to get to know a car is by using it a few days while doing your normal activities and reflect upon a few days later. Great job! Brace yourselves though, probably hundreds of 'first world problem' posts incoming.

To be honest, I think you gave to little attention to the seats in the BMW, by that i mean, you have so many options to play with. I.e. you can lower the headrest, so it's like in the Audi, i saw that the headrest in the BMW was set high compared to the Audi. Plus the Audi is the long version.... I really like and dislike some of the points....
I like those videos. But if Robert speaks with a louder voice, he may be clearer.

Misha, why do you go with a car to drive around the customers? Isn't an SUV/SAV better for that job? Something like a Panamera, BMW X6M, or an AMG Mercedes
Lean FS in those things is not more space then in a 7 a8 s LS. Plus needs more Gas if you take the proper engine.
Talking about any of this cars we can put the gas price away hahaha But I also consider them about the luggage space on the trunk
Lean FS as long as he will not buy a hybrid he will have at least the same amount of space in the trunk. I have worked for a Audi vw dealership and i defently know how small the trunk of a q7 is. Especialy compared to its size.

Why don't you guys get a nice luxury van or something? I mean the customers just want to get from the airport to the hotel comfortably, and for around 100k you can probably get a very nice luxury van plus you can load their luggage and everything.
You do realise, that you can tilt the bottom section of the seats and thereby fix your issue?
I do, it was all the way tilted when I was sitting there.

MacGuffin to be fair Misha came back to the ring early to help get this off the ground. We've been brainstorming which car to get him and an UP that we had not in use was available to drive while we got things rolling. It's been a while since I've heard top of the line and up together but I think I catch your drift.
In no way will this be his car for much longer but it makes sure that a good guy has some wheels.
What's also funny is that I don't expect one UA-cam to call for a house or financing based on his UP as it's the complete wrong market. I'd actually prefer it wasn't on the car but again I want to make sure he's got some transportation.
I've got a lot on my mind so sometimes my enthusiasm for a project may not shine through and that is kind of a bummer. I'll tell more about my mindset and goals in the next few weeks with Misha. For starters I'll offer you to Come to apex and get to know me. You'll be hard pressed to find someone that likes people and enjoys sharing a common interest as much as i do. Your stay and a few laps is on Apex :-)
A couple weeks ago i drove in the new 5 series on the back seat, and i was shocked. It has less headroom then my 1996 civic sedan on the back seat. I couldnt sit up straight. THIS car is a fucking JOKE. You spend tons of money and cant sit properly unless you are a minion. I am 193 cm, how the hell should i put my head on the back seat. That car is totally stupid. guess i would have to buy a mercedes sprinter and put a couch in the back

Dafür Komfort luxuriös und im Winter natürlich gut zu gebrauchen solange man ein awd Modell hat.
Schöne dinger um bequem zu reisen aber keine Autos mit Emotionen. Meine Ansicht.
If he wants something VERY comfortable, S-class (non amg) with a magic body control is the way to go.
Lexus LS600HL or s class Mercedes?
Lexus LS600HL President is a very good choice, I think many people overlook Lexus, but the build/ride quality and the premium sound system are awsome and on par with the germans + you dont see them as much wich makes it great.

I don't think so. Run flats on m suspension in bad roads is not a good experience. I used to have a 123d and god bless the time that I switch to non run flats.

I've had quite a few a8L's over years, currently on my second S Class L.....He should try out the Merc, In my opinion the S class is by far the most comfortable car i have ever driven or been driven in. You guys can get the s63l 4matic, that would be my ideal car here in the uk.
you can adjust the seat angle to make the rear lower and the front higher so that the pad in the front support your legs. i have that function on my E91 so i'm sure the 7series has it too.
also, if you want confort, don't buy M pack!

Agreed, I had seat angle tilt in my previous e92 and now my current m4 too.
M badge is only for the bumpers and shits like this, it doesnt bother the suspension

The 7 series M pack does not add different suspension, and the included seats are comfort seats according to the BMW configurator. the M pack consists mostly of exterior trim and shifter paddles.
You are absolut right, -total agree with Robert´s Statements. I drove the Audi A8, the 7 Series and the S-Class, as a Job, each from Zurich to Hamburg -on a direct way. The Audi A8 was by far the best Car for the Autobahn-Trips, and belive me, -as an absolut Bimmer-Fan, it is really anoying to admit something like that.
How tall and big the Robert is? Somehow myself being 189 cm / 86 kg I am feeling comfortable in the back of 3er, behind myself driving position.

Did that car have comfort seats? Msport has lower and harder suspension stock. I think you can delete that option if you order a new one. Its weird that seating thing, since it used to be normal to have a good and low driving position on a Bmw. Its a shame since that car has so much tech..

I've done many many 14-1500 km drives in 13-14 hours in an Opel Kadett shitbox, no adjusting anything, no entertainment system, no aircondition, not a single thing of luxury. What are you two Divas complaining about? :-)
you're absolutely correct, i have made some trips in some real beaters as well and it was miserable... however if I paid 150.000€ plus for it I dont think I would have been quite as okay with it! It all comes down to each situation

If he is not comfortable, why keep it? His "issue" is actually a "driving" issue. I agree with Robert, why the spend the money (big $$) on a luxury car? oh, and at 6'6" I'm not going to fit in that back seat, and I hope to stay and be shuttled to the track by Apex.

Like some of the other comments... Why the M-pack? Should have took a non-M suspension and non-sports seats optioned car for test... And also as mentioned... the angle of the base of the seat would help with the leg support issue. Maybe take a spin again in the 7 series L-version, non-m... And also S-class...

It seems you dont use the SNV (Sitzneigungsverstellung) in the BMW...
With that you can close the gap between your legs and the seat an dont coming higher.
Just get a Renault 5, it has soft suspension, soft seats and loads of headroom, if its a 5door it has enough legroom too. And you can buy more than 100 of them for the price that you paid for the 750 :D
There is a cradle-adjustment on every modern BMW. Too bad guys, you didn't find it. Shitbox e36 has it too...
Just get the king of the german comfortable cars the Mercedes S-class.

Dobbo I've got plenty of uncomfortable cars that I love driving and won't complaint one second about. If I buy a set of sparco race seats I'm expecting not to like my drive to the ring. If I buy a 750d I expect to hopefully be comfortable. I imagine you could relate to the difference.

luckily I didn't buy it. I had intended to and was going to finish the paperwork on the day following this video. Instead I ended the test drive wishing I was more comfortable in it as it just didn't fit me
