David, on a stressful day in America, I needed this mental health break! So happy the railroad 🚂 is back!! Looking forward to my trip in 37 days! Thank you, David! I appreciate your kindness! I appreciate your fellowship! I appreciate Liz’s fellowship and kindness as well! Fresh Baked!🤗🤗⛄️⛄️⛄️❄️❄️🎅🎅🎅🎄🎄🎄
I have a hard time remembering names and faces of cast members. But Steve that works the railroad is my favorite. He does the best ALL ABOARD of any of them. Plus he always tells us jokes and just embodies the joy of the railroad.❤
The last scene in Primeval World shows a tyrannosaur facing a stegosaurus. There's a funny story about stegosaurus. The growth of four spikes on its tail didn't have a name until Gary Lawson, the creator of a comic strip series called The Far Side, decided to give it a name in one of his comics. He drew a number of cavemen listening to another who stood in front of a drawing of a stegosaurus. He was pointing to the tail spikes and the caption read "Now this end is called the thagomizer, after the late Thag Simmons." Paleontologists gave him credit as the first person to give a distinct name to them and now "thagomizer" is the official scientific term for the the tail spikes.
I wish people would stop calling the Columbia a pirate ship....it's only a pirate ship for Fantasmic. A little change to the soundtrack..........thanks for bringing this to us, Dave.....the DLRR always makes me smile!
That squeaking noise is sadly to do poor maintenance on the train cars, they have to apply a certain type of grease to lubricate the wheels to prevent that loud obnoxious squeaking sound. The squeaking noise gets generated in 5 sections along the DLR.R. track; the sharp right turn on the River’s of America, the left hand turn near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the right turn in the tunnel before Mickey’s ToonTown Depot, the right turn between the roundhouse and Tomorrowland station, and it occurs sometimes depending on the cars right before arriving in New Orleans Square Station in that short tunnel by the Mardi Gras items in between Adventureland and New Orleans Square!
FreshBaked. David, nice to see you in your happy place at Disneyland and riding on the train. Love it. Everytime I see all the people walking up the steps to the Main St. Station. I hear all the so called experts telling Walt nobody would climb all those steps just to ride a train. Everything is right in the world when the Disneyland Railroad is running. Cheers, Chris Perry.
I walked there on Friday just to take a break and saw the new Hungry Bear but didn’t realize it just reopened. Then as I was leaving, I thought about taking the train around just for fun but didn’t realize that just came back online as well! I need to get back soon for the Magic Key previews of Tiana’s BA. Hope to see you guys soon!
I feel like the Tomorrowland station needs to be more futurey. Also did anyone notice when pulling into Tomorrowland they played great big beautiful tomorrow from carousel of progress?
What was the cool explosion effect in the diorama? Looks like they’ve supplemented the old murals with lighting/screen effects? I was really wondering if they were going to use this chance to spruce up the old dioramas. Would love to see a breakdown of the changes that were made!
Occasionally a lightening bolt strikes in the GC Diorama. And The volcano is majestically erupting in the Dinosaur Diorama. Among other loverly effects!
I saw a certain influencer in DCA on Monday....won't name names though. I'm annoyed that DLRR reopened Friday but not Wednesday or Tuesday when I was in Disneyland. That's okay though, I'll be back in March and hopefully April.
I really wish they would refurbish the Dinorama/Grand Canyon parts of the railway... Its not even "Disney" coded so to speak. I know its a long running exhibit and part of the railroad tour, but they could really make that part something really amazing and more on theme. Honestly that part of the park is the least favorite for me. I hope one day they change it up and do something really cool and different in that space. I can't be the only one who thinks it should get a new theme and or much needed facelift.

Thanks Larry! That is the absolute best bit of knowledge you have yet bestowed upon us! Much appreciation! You are a credit to the S.E.A.!
5:48 WOW, Columbia on River LOVE-IT!!
My heart! The guests on the Columbia waving to the guests on the train. Those are people riding the Disney winds. ❤

@DisneyParksMusic. Thanks, good info I'll remember on my next visit. Unfortunately Disneyland isn't getting the funds it needs to maintain.
@@DisneyParksMusic. Thanks!! Always bugged me when riding train. It felt right since your on a train, but still off setting.
Who remembers when the voice of the conductor/guide speaking was Tony The Tiger 🐯? 🫶🏼
Needed the smooth sounds of the Disneyland train. Just is the hidden gem of the park.
Glad to see the RR back!
Fantastic!
So happy for you, David!!!!!
Oh I’ve been waiting for this
Woo Woo!!!! Not the Adam kind, the David kind which is definitely better.

When will the window into the mountain (Tianas) be uncovered and open again? Favorite part of the entire train ride.
I've heard reports that it's been open at times. it will at least be by november 15th i'm sure.
Are there any pictures of it? I would love to see!
Thank you
Thank you. 🙏💖🥰
YES!! FINALLY ❤❤
Did anyone notice that they have a scrim version of the construction walls?
I feel like the Tomorrowland station needs to be more futurey. Also did anyone notice when pulling into Tomorrowland they played great big beautiful tomorrow from carousel of progress?
What happens to the cast that work the train when it was down? Engineers on vacation?
Thanks for the ride, David! I only wish they had taken this opportunity to re-record the entire spiel with more character in the narration.
yeah I think I would prefer a little more personality in the speech myself as well.
I miss the 2012-era narration for both the DLRR and the Mark Twain

DLRR!! whootwhoot 😂 💙💚

Hey Fresh Baked!!
Do my ears decieve me or did they ease the turn along the Rivers of America to eliminate the wheel squeal?
They replaced the track!
Any word on when New Orleans square train station reopened any dates yet

It's too bad Sophie isn't with you... She does a mean tyrannosaurus.

Dinosaurs.
Disneyland Rail Road, they turn the steam loco and put Jacobson tractor engine on that loco so no more steam.
Not a bit of truth to that, Sir or Madame, as the case may or may not be!
You can’t see into Tiana’s like you used to see in splash mountain or is it covered temporarily?
not right yet, no. but it will open I believe when the ride does officially.
Blanca is sick
