    The first try, I feel like the Irish dude was RIGHT there and should’ve just dived for him instead of having a chat with him while he was running hahahaha

    iRELAND are to be congratulated for getting to the top of the rugby tree, but I think their very short reign is over.

    If it wasn't for NZ Ireland would probably be dominating rugby especially 15s NZ is their only real nemesis in big games in recent times

    • @Sunflower-dt6ev
      @Sunflower-dt6ev 12 днів тому +9

      Ireland's not really a dominating force, to be fair. They've never won World Cups, Commonwealth Games, Olympic medals, or anything of note on the World stage, men or women, 7s or 15s.

    • @Rugby-union-fan
      @Rugby-union-fan 12 днів тому +8

      @@Sunflower-dt6ev exactly because NZ keep knocking them out in the big games and it was NZ that ended their record unbeaten winning run

    • @Sunflower-dt6ev
      @Sunflower-dt6ev 12 днів тому

      @@Rugby-union-fan no, it's because they've never dominated anything at World level in the history of rugby, fullstop. And even if they won this 7s game, that doesn't mean they dominate 7s. It means they won Singapore 7s. But Argentina actually dominated the 7s Series & got the 2024 Series League title.

      @@Sunflower-dt6evI'm talking about recent times like the last 5+ years not the whole history.

      @@Rugby-union-fanWrong. At RWC2019 Ireland were useless & were beaten by Japan who finished top of one of the easiest pools. Yes, we thrashed them in the QF, but they were hopeless. The RWC2023 QF was merely an example of Ireland choking. Their fans, pundits, media, etc, had already crowned themselves RWC champs. You're doing it too by suggesting that if Ireland had won the QF they'd then automatically go on to win the SF & Final. Utter nonsense. Like I say, Ireland have zero global prizes, men or women, in 7s or 15s. Hardly worthy of the adjective "dominating".

      I watched one of the 6 nations matches where England were playing in very windy conditions. I can’t recall if it was against Scotland or Wales, but the English ladies were pretty dropsy throughout the first half until the wind was not so much against them in the 2 nd half.
      Not criticising the ladies in any way, but I think conditions are a major factor, and the speed and pressure within the mens’ game is generally faster and harder.
