    Very interesting Brand, i now think that 1:1 with 2% risk is the receipt of passing challenges, i curently doing challenges, taking 4 trades with 1:3 RR, so far 3 losses, 1 win, now getting back to breakeven, all trades run pass 1 R mark, if i did target 1 R with 2% risk, i would have passed the evaluation (target only 8%). And it's quite psychologically challenging getting stopped out after a trade pass 1 R mark 😂. Now that hearing the receipt from an expert really boost the confidence.

      This advice goes in the wrong direction of top ftmo traders interviews. It Goes against smc and ICT concepts and philosophy, the market give you blessings of 1:5RR every day, it's crazy to cut the trade in the 1R.yep 10RR is just smc dream, but 5RR happens a lot, almost 3-4 times per day in the most valuable pairs.

      Lol if all your losing trades are on 1R you should move your SL to this point and achieve the break even, pay the commission and reduce your losses.
      Do you know that, right?
      Your SL isn't frozen, you can move it like a crash game when you achieve a checkpoint.
      Almost 30% of trades will be break evens
      Then if you win the others 30% and lose just 40%
      Ypu will be hell profitable with 1:3, 1:5 RR
      Try it and watch the magic happening 🎉

    I love this spin on the content covering challenge mistakes ❣ Very relatable 😅. How do you think the no-time limits can affect students psychologically? FTMO just removed the 2 stages 😲

    • @berndskorupinski
      @berndskorupinski  Рік тому +4

      Thank you 🙏. No-time limit I personally think will not make a big difference per se. Traders who are skilled will make it regardless. And novices will fail. Why? You can maybe pass one stage by luck. But three stages (including first payment) no way 😁

      @@berndskorupinski thanks for the reply! I read this multiple times but I'm confused 😅. You mean cause getting to payout is still difficult with or without stages? I was wondering if no limits will make us more sloppy 🫣 "we got time anyway"

    • @berndskorupinski

    Bernd, I want to ask you why you calculate Risk per trade from Balance? In my opinion, Risk per trade must be calculated from maximum allowed Loss. If we take your calculation 2% per trade, I see that a series of 5 negative trades results to stop challenge.

    • @berndskorupinski
      @berndskorupinski  Рік тому +3

      Do it as you want it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. If you have 5 consecutive losing trades then you have bigger issues 😅. You should never have 5 consecutive losing trades!

    @berndskorupinski Hi Sir, thank you for your vid. very very usefull. i just wonder and ask if 2 % risk on a challenge is not too risky ? i feel not really confortable, meaning in 5 trades challenge is over. i take max 2 trades a day london open and Ny open on th NQ CFD., yet only risking 500$ on a 100k ftmo account. RR 0.90 due to spread that i add to the SL, winrate 85 % . it goes slower but i feel like having more room if thunder strikes .... your opinion, thank you Sir.

    • @berndskorupinski
      @berndskorupinski  10 місяців тому

      If you don’t feel comfortable don’t do it. But I personally would question your skill level or trading strategy if you can’t handle 2% in a challenge environment. All my students pass it like this. But at the end it’s up to you of course.

    Bernd, luv your video and content, but again I am confused, you have defended 1:3 1:5RR with 40-20% win rate that is just the sweet spot, but for pass the ftmo you suggest 1:1,doesnt make sense for me. At least you are giving this advice for extremely noobs, like, start doing 1:1 2% and you will improve, later you can eat more "solid food". I agree with 2% risk on challenges, as paladin teach, this because a 200k test cost 1400$ and can give you 20.000$ on average. A profitable prop firm trader is a machine of print cash 💵💵💵. For the emotional seesaw, just a few doses of Marco Aurelio's stoicism and you will luv to control and dominate your emotions. This Roman Emperor had the finest knowledge and techniques to tame this animal begind the screen 😂😂😂

      First of all thank you that you actively participate on my channel. In general this is great for any channel no doubt. Secondly, go your own way if MY way doesn’t make any sense. And just a recommendation from my side: if you are such a star trader then don’t watch trading content from other people. What’s the point of this? Focus on your own craft and don’t second guess yourself. I have never ever watched any other “UA-camr”. Once you are profitable then just scale! Never change a running system. And don’t waste your time. Your time should be too precious to be bothered with this. Anyhow. Happy and safe trading Eduardo from Brazil 🇧🇷😎

      @@eduardopimentel4861 thx for saying it. Some comments seem a little rough though 😇☝️. The 1:1 RR is only recommended for the evaluation phase because as you said a 1:1 is always very likely. This phase is only to pass the prop firm evaluation regardless of how you do it. Nobody will ask you how you passed this phase. So do what’s most likely to work. And that’s a quick 1:1 with 2% risk.
