I saw this in Williamsburg at the globe theatre....What was so great was how the theatre was made up with cobwebbed chandeliers, curtains blowing like a storm with lighyning strobes, etc....The atmosphere was amazing.....I remember they pumped the smell of perfume you could actually smell when they had the bottle floating, looked like it was floating in front of you off the screen....When the confetti popped it actually popped for real in the room also....When the witch was talking at the end off screen, they had an actor in the back of the room dressed like the witch acting out the part....When the boy threw the water, water actually shot out the front of the stage at the audience....It was an amazing experience....Thinking I saw it in 1995....Thanks for posting!....
My Dad brought me to the premiere of this show. I remember the actor Harry Anderson came to cut the ribbon and open it. I was so excited because we got to be in the park the rest of the day, and my family couldn't afford to go. This movie was so magical, I loved the 3D and 4D effects! I was just totally immersed in the experience.
I remember I was 6 or 7 years old, and the part where the witch’s flaming face starting flying around, I got so scared that my parents got me out of the theater and it took forever for me to stop crying and calm down 😂 I told myself I’d watch the whole thing when I was older and braver, and here I am. 🥰 Thank you for posting this ❤
I love Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The shows like Celtic Fyre, Pet Shananigans, Monster Stomp, and Fiends are great. My only wish is that the bring a 4D show back. Haunts of the Olde Country, of course, is my favorite.
I loved this! This came out when I was in high school and was the best way at the time to escape the humidity during the summer. Questor was always broken down or had hours long waits, so this was it!
First time for me and my girlfriend was in 1995 ,she's now wife of 21 years our 2 oldest saw this around 10 years ago during Howl O Scream. I wish it would come back as a regular showing.
So crazy that I remember this so well from 22 years ago. I remember the ending where the witch shows up at the party they had an animatronic witch that popped out onto the balcony of the theater. Also remember when you first walked into the theater they had lightning and thunder effects as you walked in. Thanks for sharing this 👍🏻
I visited BG for my 8th grade trip in 1996. Did this movie have a confetti effect from the ceiling and water when the kid throws the punch? if so, this was the one I saw when I went! For some reason, I was confusing it for the DarKastle ride
Thank you for posting. It took me a long time to find the name of this. When I got there they had the times posted for the next show and I waited. I remember getting wet and a witch, also bubbles(maybe)...??? I love that dark 3d effect. Good memories 😍

I forgot the balcony part and then getting wet from the “juice” being thrown 😂
And one time they had a lady dressed in white (Tudor Era) saying she was Ann Boleyn! About 10 minutes before the show. Awesome times.
