Here is the meaning of the thief in the night. God Bless all: 1 Thes 5 is Ezek 7:25 and also Hos 5:14-15, Isa 1:25, Isa 3:1,18, Isa 5:5. The "taking away" from the drunkards of Ephraim everything that is precious to Israel even their children is what occurs when they are saying Peace and Safety during the 5th Seal courtship with the Assyrian antichrist. Father will give them "1 year and some days" to return to Him before He blows the whistle of Isa 7 & Isa 5 at the 6th Seal. {Isa 32:10, Isa 7:16-17 & Isa 8:4. In conclusion, the taken away of 1 Thes 5 is the taken away of Isa 8:4. If anyone is not sure if the final antichrist will be an Assyrian here is the proof in which you seek: Nahum 1:11, 14,15 (MAgog is Al MAWsil, Iraq ancient Nineveh), Micah 5:5, Isaiah 14:25. I disagree somewhat that you need faith for a curse to be in action. Years ago I suffered with a swollen stomach for no apparent reason, whatever I tried it didn't work. Then I attended a healing meeting.. I went forward for prayer for some other issues. The minister said to me' there are people in your home town who have cursed you'. He broke off the curse then said 'your tummy will go down' 😲 well I never said anything about my tummy. My swollen tummy did go down. Now from time to time I break off word curses whether I know about them or not.
Another experience I had was when I was a new Christian. My youngest son aged 4 didn't like being strapped into his child seat. I often said to him 'if we have an accident you need to be safe in your seat'. Well we did have an accident, just him and myself in the car, we were hit by two other cars ( my car was a right off) The Lord reminded me of my words afterwards.. What I was really saying to my son was the Lord won't protect us from having an accident! Well I'm very mindful of my words now and always thank the Lord for his protection.
