Very clear explanation. 10 out 10. I bought it thinking that it a wire cutter and could not use it for that purpose. Your explanation has shown me that this is a wire crimping tool.
For most of the connectors, this Stanley crimper is suitable however for crimping ferrules you need to use a different type of crimper: ua-cam.com/video/JLFvICCanb4/v-deo.html
@@M-DIY Thanks a lot for the quick response. @M-DIY I want to buy a ratchet type crimper but most show pics of wire end connector pics with these so I am confused if these would be able to crimp butt type wire connectors.
Yes, I have used 2.8mm connectors a lot for modifying my bike's wiring harness and this tool works really well. But there is a technique that works better than the one shown in the video, I'll cover it in another video.
I did change my rear wheel bearings last year, but wasn't able to shoot video for it because I was in a hurry, but I will change front wheel bearings after engine overhaul series. SKF bearings are best, make sure you buy them from a genuine distributor, I will talk about all this in my video on bearings.
@@M-DIY Sure please make a video when you change the front one. Okay SKF. I will find the geniune distributor. Also please provide the details of the bearing numbers for both the wheels. Thank you so much.
Sorry for late reply. Front wheel bearings: 6301-2RS1 = x2 Rear wheel bearings: 6302-2RS1 & 6202-2RS1 = x1 each Rear wheel sprocket bearing: 6004-2RS1 = x1 Note that I bought and installed bearings with N clearance while Bajaj suggests to use bearings with C3 clearance.

Depends on how you use it, most of the times, it works decent, though there is an alternative method to use the tool that results in much better crimped connections which I didn't feature in the video to simplify the process for beginners.

Do not used that crimping tool, it usually makes for very bad connections and can damage the terminal..
