Good deal for you! I would put locking wheels on it. I bought one from Harbor Freight and seems okay and I put large locking wheels on it. I bought a can of splatter reducer but you can use Pam spray also.
Wheels are a must have. I doubt I’ll be using it against this wall every time I need it!
Thats a nice score man, can't wait to see what else ya do to it in time to make it fit your needs 💪🍻
Wd40 and pb blast works good to for not rusting
I don’t have any of that on the shelf. I have my home made stuff which is just acetone and atf
Damn at $30 that's a steal! I have a 1,000 lb. 1.5" thick, drilled/tapped fixture table, but I would've jumped on that deal as well if I could've lol! As for maintenance, I've had mine for years for my fabrication business and generally it gets a once or twice a year thorough cleaning, sanding, then oiling, though I will oil here and there in between as needed. And I've always just used WD40 with good results.
I thought about breaking out the orbital sander but wasnt sure. I thing Im going to try to flatten it out and see how that goes!
Sweet table…can’t believe you got it for only 30 bucks…can’t wait to see you stick your project to the table…lol!
That’s a real bargain for roughly $30. Can’t even buy scrap for that. Looks to be perfect for your needs and the best part is you can always add to it if needed.👍
Nice, getting heavy snow Fri. 6pm North East Indiana
@@EverythingElliott well then: u might have a snow removal video this weekend
I keep hearing about a storm hitting the North East. Might we see a snow blower video in the coming days??
Unfortunately we only got like 2" of snow. Somehow the storm missed us
Nice score! What did you use for hanging tools etc on the wall behind that table? Is it fencing?
That’s some racking I purchased when a Best Buy closed up. It’s made for what it’s doing
Are you going to clean that welding table after every use? I don’t think I ever have seen a clean one lol.
There is a 0% chance I’ll clean it after every use, but I wanted to start fresh so i have no one to blame but myself when it’s dirty
Elliott for my grinder I bolted on a piece of angle to my grinder. when I need it I just put it into the vise and when I am done take it from the vise and store it.
That’s not a bad idea, I was thinking about mounting a receiver stock underneath in a couple spots and mounting 2x2 to the bottom of the grinder and vice.
