I used to come here every Saturday from Long Beach on Long Beach Transit the 51 and the 121 bus lines, transfer to the OCTA at 7th and Channel to either the 60 bus or the 50 bus lines to Harbor Blvd and Westminster or near Disneyland at Katella and Harbor Blvd on my way to Fullerton train station to railfan BNSF, Amtrak and Metrolink. I miss doing that. Unfortunately staying here in Baltimore. Not too happy. I miss the Pacific West.
And now, and now...... this is the spot that I came to...... the Fullerton Transportation Center. This is where I got off to go to the train station for happy BNSF rail fanning. Every Saturday.
Thanks! In between clips, there were some homeless people acting crazy and I wanted to capture some of that action, but I felt that it wouldn’t it into this video!
So sad to hear homeless or druggies at that station nowadays. It’s a classy station. Create a new episode and showcase them and hopefully Fullerton city council and OCTA board can see the problem and one of reasons why people are no longer riding transit. Be safe out there friend.
Not to mention there was also an incident several years ago where a homeless man named Kelly Thomas was beaten by police at this very station. Anyways, also OCTA will release its finalized bus service plan for October and February today, hopefully they heard their customers about the 213, 206, and 86.
The homeless are the ones who chase away the paying customers from public transit. They're just full of drugged low lives! It was also because of them that OCTA decided to remove bus stop shelters and benches, which means you're forced to stand!
Hi Alex, I read somewhere a few months back that the homeless population in SoCal is at least 59% drug related. Scary times and that is why all riders need to carry peeper or bear spray for security.
Ahh okay, perhaps next time when you go to D-Land, get some video inside of that monorail. Would love to see the perimeter of the park and transit vehicles on the outside.
@@TheMetropolitanNetwork For sure, though I did photograph an ex OCTA now ART bus. The transportation hub outside of Disney is accessible. I remembered I just bus fanned there watching the buses and shuttles coming in and out. I also want to try out the monorail too and hopefully if I go again, I'll try my best to ride it
tyrone L.a323 Recording in a public place isn’t considered “stalking” and these aren’t just employees, they’re talented people we rely on to help us get around OC. Thanks for understanding.
@ tyrone L.a323 It is weird that you do not know basic fundamental rights of the 1st amendment. This is not stalking, OC Bus Fan crew is clearly exercising their rights for recording in a public place of public officials who are doing a magnificent job keeping Orange County moving.
I miss the old bike racks with the turkey pans
I always love riding those XN40 and XN60 New Flyer buses.

That’s near my old dance studio
Nice to see that you are putting in some great transit work. Good showcase.

Awesome video! I was at Disneyland on the 16th
Did you get footage of the monorail by any chance?
@@TheMetropolitanNetwork Sadly no, but I've seen it a lot during the trip.
Nice!
